I feel sorry for her as well. Is that a bad thing? I know she did wrong. But I still feel sorry for her.

I don't think Cat has a lot of resect for herself. But I do feel that Cat likes to talk about things, even if they are uncomfortable. Like there were the two chats in the hamster wheel with Lawson, plus that talk she had with Skye and Katie in the first couple of weeks.

That's the thing though.. She now comes across to me as someone who has hit their 30s and realized she doesn't have everything others have like her sister and is trying to find it however she can. You can't say she's into Asian men if she goes after Lawson but maybe that's the only guy she could pin down? he might be doing it for VISA reasons.. who knows? but she is bitter and just wants what she wants now because she's not getting any younger. So I kinda get that.

She's just a 30 year old woman who wants to find love. She is a sweet lady with a lot of love to give and she's very kind,gentle and soft spoken. You can tell she isn't a bitch at all. I think she's a catch and the whole Lawson thing well she can't help how she feels about him and he made the decision to respond. I like cat.

There's always competitiveness between siblings but twins is much worse. She's probably been living in her shadow.

From what I have seen, perhaps it was always her sister's 'cool' friends that teased her during School? It would definitely be harder for twins, especially if one was 'cool' and the other was a little more introverted, and overweight.. School kids can be cruel and probably said things like 'If you're twins, why are you fat' or 'You're the ugly twin' etc. etc.

I think Cat feels like it's now or never, and it's 'her' time, finally.

Interesting theory but based on what? I have sisters that are identical and about Cat's age and they don't act like this when one is doing better than the other. They support each other. I also have sons that are twins and I don't think either lives in the shadow of the other. They both see themselves as individuals. When they were really young some teachers would compare them and I'd tell them they are not a pair and to treat them separately esp if they couldn't remember who was who. But as they have become young adults they now advocate for themselves but hardly ever need to.

I suppose it would be tiring for Cat knowing that her sister is better looking than her, and that, in Cat's head, she is just the fat unattractive bookworm who no one loves. It would play on her insecurities. I wonder if Cat got a tongue piercing because she wanted to be more like her sister?

What do you think explains Cat's behaviour? I think it has something to do with her divorce and her issues with her weight.

Cat is just a nerd. She's cool though I like her. She has a kind heart and she is very respectful of others (maybe not lawson's gf).
