Cat was cheated on

I'm quite perplexed tbh. When she started she seemed very nerdy and quiet. I remember liking her though as she had some intelligent things to say. I actually can't even see why she's attracted to Lawson but as Sam said maybe it's just from being in the house. If I had to guess why she pursued Lawson I'd say it has something to do with her ex that cheated on her. Maybe his actions were way worse and in comparison she doesn't see this being as bad or as real.

Yes it can be but the bond is strong and they argue like a married couple. The love is extreme. They share things between them before they even share with their husbands. I don't want to say too much in case they happen to be members here... but let's just say weight issues, business success, financial success, social success are issues they have both faced at different stages (jealousy did come into play but always got resolved) but fidelity is one thing they have maintained with their respective partners.

Maybe. I guess Cat is attracted to Lawson because maybe in some ways they are very similar? Or maybe there are other reasons.

It seems, like she said, that any decision she has regarding Lawson she thinks with her heart, when she should be thinking of her head. I don't know if her behaviour regarding Lawson was influenced by her cheating ex, but I do think she is a very insecure person.

Did you mean to say she IS insecure? because she definitely is. I have been approached by 2 married men before and they're both good looking and financially stable. I refused them because i'm not an insecure person AND i have enough confidence to not want to be " the other woman". I've had a big crush on a guy who (at the time) had a gf, it didnt go further than a friendly flirting (no touching involved, no kiss, no hugging, just a friendly banter). Cats problem is much more deeper than just not using her head. She seriously needs psychological help and a good therapist. She's delusional if she think they're both going to have an ever lasting "love"

Yes I do think she is insecure. I think both Cat and Lawson will need therapy once they leave the Big Brother house.
 
Just goes to show... some people don't learn from past experiences. If Cat had it done to her you'd think she'd know not to do it to someone else. You know, learning from your past kind of thing? Age and experience do nothing for some people :(
