Big Brother sets his sights on Estelle.

This is pretty silly. From what we saw last night, it looked like Sam was flirting with Estelle more than she was with him. He certainly looked to be initiating it or at the very least, he was willingly participating in it. But as usual, the woman gets the slutty flirt edit.
 
Maybe she was really flirting? After 80 days in a family friendly environment I'd be feeling a little hot and bothered

It's about time BB turned it's attention to Estelle. All yes ALL HM's have complaints about Estelle - it's about time we saw a bit of just what it is about her that annoys the HM's so much. Seems like her her buds Sam and Layla where complaining about her to the other HM's - according to the official site that is.

Who are ALL the housemates though?

Zoe, Ben, Michael, Layla and Stacey?

Zoe has whinged about everyone but Michael because she's hot for him. Ben has whinged about everyone but himself, whom he insists is a wonderful person. Michael has whinged about everyone. Layla has whinged about everyone but Sam. Stacey has whinged about everyone but Ben.

Sam has whinged about no one but the people doing the whinging. Estelle has whinged about no one. Perhaps the problem everyone has with Estelle is that she's not nasty and bitchy like they are? I don't think Estelle can be singled out as being the most complained about housemate when all the other pack do is whinge about one another behind people's backs.
 
Yep the tone on the official site over the last couple of days has been pathetic, biased and inexcusable. I'm not entirely sure who they are trying to favour, but they sure are attempting to get people to turn on Estelle! Alex if you are reading, we are noticing it! Talk about trying to turn a situation that Big Brother himself manufactured in to something it's not to create an anti Estelle story line!

I don't think its anti at all, if you watched last night it was a setup to get a reaction from the HM's. But in the diaryroom you had Layla pretending to be cross with BB, quite funny. All these Estelle storylines are keeping her in the limelight.
 
I don't disagree, the way it came across on the show itself last night actually did her no harm at all. I'm referring to the updates on the OS, that are then being linked through the Facebook page and stirring up anti Estelle sentiment.

The anti Estelle feeling is not from those who like Estelle turning against her. In fact I'm loving watching her on TV etc.

Just keep on the save votes. The only thing the haters can do is support her rivals and as long as the Estelle fans concentrate on her alone it will all work out fine. But don't relax. Don't let the guard down. Estelle won't turn nasty overnight and the swinging votes don't matter one bit. Just keep to the plan. Vote to save, vote to save. Let the haters hate.

To Estelle's credit, she hasn't bitched about anyone. However she has bragged to the others on multiple occasions that she doesn't bitch. How are you sure her self-victimisation isn't a strategy? I don't understand how everyone sees Estelle as the poster child for bullying, she's pretty much the most self aware housemate remaining.

I don't think she bragged, she said that in defense. She is not the one to have stared the subject of being bitching

You've confused the definition of self aware.

self-a·ware (slf-wâr) adj. Aware of oneself, including one's traits, feelings, and behaviors. The capacity for introspection and the ability to reconcile oneself as an individual separate from the environment and other individuals.


See case in point, Estelle likes to tell everyone how individual she is, also see how she was in the diary room on tonights episode playing the victim. Again.
 
I think there's been a fundamental issue with the BB editors this season where they actually seem to take cues from the housemates. It's happened a bunch through out the seasons where what is said and what we see is around the house mates narrative. Not an objective observers.
 
I believe that Estelle's strategy has been to turn the housemates against her. As it has been pointed out, she had her eyes set on the prize and already knew how she was going to do it. She was going to make sure that the whole of Australia Felt sorry for her. I too was "Team Estelle" and hated the 'bullying'. But I now realise that it has not been bullying at all. People who know Estelle in the real world posted a link to a staking forum where she's absolutely nasty and horrible to people. So, seeing that site and seeing the Estelle in the house, I now realise she's playing the game.

Some how from all the Estelle threads i've been involved in I have missed that... Oh and look at that, you signed up just to make that comment.... NICE TRY.... Is that how pathetic people have to be to disparage her? You should really be ashamed of yourself.


None the less, in response to that comment the whole Estelle claims she's just there to win is just smears from the housemates against her. As far as her playing the game the whole time, it is by far the worst BB strategy to get everyone to hate you ensuring you're always up for nomination and under the most stress in the house. If someone seriously thinks this is her strategy and it was planned from the beginning. You'd have to commend her for the most brilliant strategy ever in it's execution.

They're all playing the friggen game! Seriously people, it's BB, a game to see who can last the longest and if Estelle really has been playing a strategy of making everyone hate her (and what a stupid strategy that would be) and got it to work on the sympathies of the public then she still gets my vote as the biggest mastermind in Australia. Well done, Estelle!
