"Big Brother: House of Love" confirmed for late 2023

First glimpse of the season during the logies
Big Brother said we’re about to meet his “sexy singles..”
I didn’t see that. But maybe that’s how this Facebook fan found this dude.

Edit: in case that’s not clickable - it says fitness influencer Louis Phillips will be a housemate.

This season is going to be a disaster irrespective of whether it's good or not, they should not have renewed this show, as much as I love BB.

I'm going to assume it was made for fairly cheap so perhaps they can offset the losses from a smaller budget, but no matter how "good" this season is, this will fail. There is just no buzz, no hype, no one cares, the younger generation have no idea what Big Brother is, last year's all-star seasons was already a flop, and there are hundreds of much better reality shows with a romance-angle on both network tv (e.g. Love Island) or streaming (e.g. Perfect Match and Too Hot to Handle).

There is literally no reason that this season should exist, and the most interesting thing over the next few months isn't even going to be the show's contents but to discuss the very swift downfall of the ratings week to week.

so when does this even launch? September and we've heard nada. Are they planning a 2 week run or something?

Isn't in a shorter run too - perhaps as few as 13 episodes IIRC, although of course each episode is 17 hours long.

Filming apparently lasted 29 days and I'm pretty sure last year Seven confirmed it will be stripped back to 20 episodes instead of 30.

It's going to be a train wreck, I just know it. Given they pushed it back so late in the year, it actually wouldn't surprise me if they aired it in the summer non-ratings season.

I probably won’t even watch, I’m travelling to Europe for 2 months and will certainly not be going out of my way to catch up on it.

I will BBUS and BBUK, but this seems like an opportune moment for me to not even bother to watch this crap.

This is sounding more and more worse as time goes by!
It'll hardly be worth watching if it's as short as they're saying.

So a few more than I thought. Even at 4 a week that'll play out over 5 weeks - can't see Seven wanting to stretch it out much longer. If it wasn't for the cricket I'd expect it to be dumped out over the non-ratings period.

End of October? Wow that's super late. Mind you so many US reality shows are starting in about 2-3 weeks (LIB, Survivor, BIP, Special Forces, TAR etc) so that might give me some breathing room by then.

It might mirror the run of VIP (started 1st November 2021 and went for about 3 or 4 weeks up to the end of ratings IIRC). Depends how many episodes they want to cram into a week since its pre recorded.

What is even the point of airing this anymore? There is zero interest, if I was 7 I would shelve it and relinquish the rights to the show

If I was looking for a show to pay to have my ads on, I would NOT be paying 7 for this show
