Just to back up to the spoiler debate and if it's aired in Canada spoilers are not required. If you want to avoid spoilers you avoid this thread - simple.
Not too bothered about them for events in the house either - we're all here because we're fans of Big Brother and all know that Big Brother isn't just a TV show, it's a 24/7 show and the live feeds are a large part of why this forum thrived in it's early days. However I think the common courtesy is to put the original post with the details in a spoiler but then be free to discuss that spoiler openly beyond that. It just avoids pages where you have to click on every post to read it.
As for the show - great to see the house finally wise up and vote out the biggest threat of the season. Was also nice to see the back of Jared.
I've really not liked Jared everytime he's under pressure - becomes just a horrid individual. He could have put a really valid argument to Joel about how Nikki was potentially a barrier for him getting to final 2 as without Nikki I think Joel's chances of reacing the final 2 increase significantly. On top of that it would simply be a case of putting doubt in his mind about whether Tim or Cassandra would take him or each other to the end, not making up lies about how they've been throwing him under the bus all season.
Whether it was a pity vote to ensure Cassandra didn't get the vote to send Jared home or not I think Kelsey voting Jared out was a wise move by her. She's probably building a strong case now to be taken to final 2 (she only has 2 guaranteed votes in jury, maybe 3 with the Brothers), whilst she could probably win it next to the right person too.
As for the second round I will at least credit the brothers for standing by their Canadian pledge and nominating the international HGs - although the way they acted with Cass after she won the Veto was completely unnecessary and the whole act about nominating themselves just made them look stupid. It was obvious whether it was Tim or Joel on the block next to Nikki the remainder of the Freak Show would stick together - they need people who can win comps at this stage and that isn't Nikki.
Nikki did herself proud though and glad she got evicted along the way rather than just carried to final two. It also seemed appropriate that she wasn't really evicted strategically.
Finally apologies for my mistake regarding the finale. I swear I read the finale was on May 5th around the time of launch (The Brick or someone has a comp which suggested that as the finale date), but it is actually a week later.
