Big Brother Australia 2026 rumours

I hope they cancel it. At least that way they won't be able to do something stupid like bringing back Bruce or Colin as a "big twist".

I had no idea what the state of it was. They used to do it in the old BB days -- which I always wanted to visit. I suspected they might’ve done one again because of the whole BB house/Dreamworld crossover.

Problem is, the ‘house’ was literally just a facade inside a warehouse. You’d instantly see the walls were fake. In hindsight… yeah, that tracks.

I’ll just crawl back into my hole now lol.
 
They did tours for a few weeks before taking it down.

Is there anywhere on the Dreamworld site which tells us what events are scheduled to ve held in the exhibition centre?

Ah yes, but the old BB house was a purpose built compound specifically for the show. If they stick to cheaper pre-fab in a warehouse or soundstage moving forward I don't see house tours lasting more than a few weeks after the show wraps when they could be using the space for other events.

I still hope they'll move back to a purpose built structure, but after last years Temu edition I think the writing is on the theoretical wall.

More likely that the reason for the short tour windows is that production doesn't want to keep paying for occupying the space. They clearly want to spend as little as possible, milk it while the iron is hot, and then cut costs down to as close to zero as possible.

Secondary reason is because the season last year wasn't exactly a huge runaway hit - so they don't want people going on half empty tours, which makes the show seem even less relevant and weakens the brand further. It did okay, but it wasn't something that was way out in front of everything else last year.
