Rewatch Big Brother 2008 YouTube stream (Starts 7am 25 Oct)

This might mean they aren't going to upload the digitised episodes as separate Youtube videos either, which is annoying. (They've been slowly doing this, up to end of 2003 season)

I've been planning to rip them all from Youtube because they'll be the highest quality ones ever available.

Apparently their boss got shitty that they mass uploaded all of 2002 basically all at once and demanded that the upload rate get slowed right down. So they may just continue at this currently poor speed for other seasons.
 
They’ve now deleted the 2008 Yearbook posts from socials.

They’ll definitely upload the individual episodes in their own playlist eventually, they’ve already confirmed that’s the plan for all seasons. But looks like they will not be streaming 2008 as a marathon.
 
That guy that Terri evicted to save herself that was in chat last weekend will be so gutted his record short time in the house won’t get streamed.
 
I did say I was looking forward to these streams ending in a way but not prematurely! Genuinely don’t know what to do with myself now. Feels very fitting that this mess of a season was left out and essentially scrubbed from the streams, but it’s a jarring ending.

I was looking forward to it but likely won’t bother to watch the episodes on YouTube if they upload them.
 
Bit of a shame as 08 is a fascinating look into how to complete kill off a once popular television show to me.

Carson and Pamela Anderson were bad enough but that hypnotist was something else....from memory it was very obvious that only a few housemates were able to be hypnotised and some of them were clearly pretending to be lol. Such incredibly terrible television.

They will. Unless something happens BTS (or they get pissed off lol), they confirmed every season will get their own separate playlist in time, they just weren’t allowed to upload the eps in bulk for some reason. They’ve even suggested Celebrity Big Brother will be added to the playlists some time early next year.

The purpose of leaving the streams up from 2004 onward was just to give people a chance to catch-up in the interim as the seasons got longer.

Regarding 2008, it’s probably for the best that it just gets left til the individual playlist anyway. Especially if it gives them time to censor and still upload Big Mouth.
 
I think the younger generation would probably be pretty shocked by some of the racism, not just Terri but Saxon as well. The "I wouldn't have talked to you beforehand Nobbi because you are Asian" absolutely floored me at the time TBF.

They don’t really have time to re-schedule, I think that’s more the point.

They already hinted last weekend that they - and the other departments - are working to focus on delivering the new series, rather than the old ones. They even tried to cut FNL from this weekend’s streams to get it done quicker. So I assume that whatever happened tonight has in turn forced their hand to just axe it. Gives them a chance to just put their effort into promoting 2025 now.
