The memories I have of this, and the next year’s, Launch night prerecording - following along to the Live Blog (and audio!) being fed to us here directly from the auditorium while they filmed the day before.
Was it 2006 or 2007 when they paused the show and threatened BBBA to stop broadcasting it?

I'm wondering if this was already in digital format and that's why there's no colour bars and production countdowns.
They confirmed on Facebook this week (and have previously said in the chat) it’s all video tapes through to the end of 2008.
Last weekend they mentioned they still had to rewind the 2006 tapes, when I first asked about any damaged eps this season.
Oh she knew… hence all her other unnecessary “gay” comments in the first 10 minutes of the episode, lol
Don’t forget it was mostly pre-planned for David to come out on the show. #ratings
Honestly it looks like a live HD broadcast right now, not something from a 19yo tape. Amazing.
