But I think even the audience (and HMs) perception of someone like Sharna in 2001 proved it was an overall mentality back then. She was constantly referred to as the “old one”. She wasn’t even 35!

ADHD for me and same. Just started meds a few days ago and it’s shocking what a difference it’s made.I got diagnosed with autism last week, and to be honest, I'm amazed it didn't happen sooner.

The psychiatrist that did my assessment suspected I may have autism in the mix but couldn’t confirm. I’d have to pay out of pocket for it so it’s not really a priority or that much of a concern ATM. As for meds for me the struggle was fatigue, burnout, and the brain fog that comes along with it. I’ve had so many days over the past few years where I couldn’t get out of bed or days at work where I’d literally stare at my computer all day not getting anything done so it’s been nice to feel like I can function like a “normal” human being and not someone dragging thier ass just to make it through the day. Now if I could only get a full 8 hours sleep without waking up multiple a night. Small wins I guessHah, I have both. Congrats on starting meds, it's amazing isn't it?
