Big Brother 2005 on official YouTube channel (Live streamed Sept 12-14 + Sept 19-21)

Unpopular opinion but my least favourite BB companion show of all-time is the Live Nominations shows. Always has been. I just find it very tedious and lowkey boring.

They’re a necessity but I’m a big fan of Noms being incorporated into the Daily Show, ala season 1.

My mum always said this when we watched them all together. When her and I did our massive binge all those years ago she'd beg to skip nominations and FNL every time. I liked nominations in the early seasons but they got a bit dragged out, I do like seeing Gretel tho. My younger sister really only joined us for FNL so we watched that occasionally.

Yeah I've often wondered if instead of Heath being very samey and adding to the blokefest they'd chucked in someone a bit different like Zach from 07 and watch what happens with the dynamics, but then again I'd feel for them being put into that boys club kinda environment/atmosphere it was getting to be at the same time if they clashed or whatever.

Yeah, that's like when I got a job at a warehouse with a bunch of boofheads. It was not fun. Actually it was around the time this season aired.
I think watching men like this in my formative years has led me to embracing my femininity over wanting to be one of the boys 🤔

I think a gay male would have been heavily ostracised by this cast. Not so much by the females or maybe Greg and definitely not Tim, but I just dont think a gay man would have meshed well in the 05 group (probably not the 04 group either) and it would have highlighted some underlying bigotry that we didn't fully see. I do wonder how the Kate situation would have played out.

I’m happy they learnt their lessons from Miriam and waited until the final 4 to put Nadia in
