Rewatch Big Brother 2004 YouTube stream (Aug 29 -30 + Sept 6-7)

Could be part of the marketing campaign, maybe we'll see the BB socials support her in some way, hope so.
 
Interesting... Is this new information about the voting error that led to Bree's eviction?

Due to human error, an extra phone line had been opened, and some stray votes had gone there, she was told.

Re-airing old TV is so weird and gross lmao. Not that I want them to stop

The thing that stood out to me is that Mike and Fitzy "were" good friends of hers.
 
I don't get how an extra phone line would cause votes to incorrectly go to Bree though. Unless she was just the last one they ran numbers on and the computers just counted the uncounted votes and put them in her total. But then that would require a large number of people calling a phone line that was never advertised as being open for that week's eviction...

I wonder if they messed up at some point and advertised an incorrect number for someone else (likely Wesley) that was the extra line at some point? Which would then mean that it wasn't entirely Legion's fault, which is what they led us to believe...

Am I missing something obvious?

we'll have to look out for the numbers during that week, In 03 and 04 I definitely remember each housemate being assigned a certain number suffix ranging from .61 through .74 or so for the OG housemates, But it wasn't in Alphabetical order. For example I remember in 2003 Saxon was .70 and I think Chrissie was .74? Trying to recall what number Bree was during 2004.

Ah yep, I used to sit with a paper and pen and tally the nominations as they went on nominations night most weeks and have them in voting number suffix order iirc So i had them associated/memorized after a while lol. (and iirc i think the order could be found somewhere like the official site or something before they were actually nominated and their number shown on the show? or maybe I took note as each one came up perhaps).

So Wesley was .65, Trevor .70, Bree .72, Ryan .73, etc. So its not like at this point they were next to each other or the last in the sequence and somehow adjacent to another line, (if that had anything to to do with it anyway). Monica had .76 (assuming if Violeta made it to being up for a public vote and wasn't voted out by the housemates she would've taken the .75 Line I presume).

Yikes, gotta say the last two weekend of streams have been a bit of a mess.

This weekend is no different - so many technical glitches, the stream keeps freezing and the audio has been out of sync by about 4-5 seconds for almost an entire episode. Shame.

Yknow how some Daily Shows before a live special had Gretel introducing with a “stay tuned for our special show … but first, let’s catch-up on the last 24 hours in the house” yadda yadda?

The note is there for the programmers back in the day.

I gather since this is the master tape, it was the pre-broadcast version so the intro by Gretel was missing unfortunately.
 
Funnily enough, the original rip for that episode doesn't have the Gretel intro either. Just checked. So I'm gonna throw a guess and say for whatever reason they actually never ended up doing the link anyway. lol

There ya go. Didn't miss much. haha
