Yeah I'm aware that this season was well-liked. I made a thread on which was the best ch10 season and this one had the most votes.

Then why are you here claiming they did things to make it less boring? There’s a huge difference between stating your opinion and stating things like they’re fact.

I get how it might not stand up on a first watch 23 years later. As someone who has always rated it highly due to production I would say it probably is a bit lacking casting wise over all - Reggie did a lot of the heavy lifting.

Interesting take… I think the 2003 cast stands up much better than the Kris Noble era series.

Agreed, it had lots of dynamics there, Ben Vs Chrissie, Jo's love triangle square with Vincent, Patrick and Saxon all fawning over her lol, Belinda, Carlo, Daniel, Leah. Great cast.

If there was an issue with this series it’s not so much Reggie doing all the “heavy lifting” it’s that she gets a bit too much attention.
