Big Brother 2003 on official YouTube channel (Live streamed Aug 15-17 + 22-24)

She was robotic by comparison. I honestly think she's terrible. Maybe it's just me.
I’m sure it’s not just you, I just personally never found her too bad solely as far as delivery goes. Low key mortified to seem like a Sonia apologist here and there is so much I could criticise but her tone when reading from autocue is (IMO) not too bad.

I can't make out who it was that threw it because of the quality - but you can see them standing there in shock of what they just did when they realised it hit her in the head.
It was Bodie, if you download it, the quality is a little better.

You can tell after the fact, that he was actually remorseful, hopefully he was aiming for the audience 😅

Then the voting infrastructure melting down halfway through the 2007 grand final broadcast, production had what was coming.

I never watched the 2007 season. Desperately trying to find this online but BBAU have done a good job removing everything from their run. Guess I'll have to wait until 10 do the BB7 stream.

Anyone care to link or fill me in? Was this why Gretel didn't come back?

I just hope since channel 10 Bigbrotherau killed all other Big Brother YouTube channels including mine Big Brother upscaled and enhanced where I spent over a year of my time upscaling and enhancing them and lots of money involved, that they keep their YouTube channel up and put shows up there, before they pulled my YouTube channel I was getting upto 20,000 views a day which is more than what BigBrotherau are you is currently getting.

Mate, you took that risk on your own accord to republish content that doesn’t belong to you.

There is mention of Jo's boyfriend at the time having passed on but I can't find anything about it in google. What happened?

I have definitely read about it online before, I’ll see if I can find anything although I’m sure I’ll be looking at the same things as you.

My understanding/memory is that it was a few years after BB and they had separated a few years already by that point. I also remember her saying she ended thing and then wanted him back but he had moved on.

He did take his own life but I don’t believe it had anything to do with Jo based on the timing.

There definitely were articles but for various reasons they seem to have been scrubbed. It was in 2008, 5 years after BB and probably also roughly 5 years from when they split up. I believe Jo did get married that same year but I’m sure it’s unrelated and he no doubt had mental health issues or other things going on his life to lead him to that point.

The only thing I can find is this from the Big Footy forum, I have definitely read articles on it in the past.

I put them up for everyone to enjoy didn't make a cent from Youtube and that I knew I wouldn't what was the point of me having all this good content and not sharing it . with other people
100%! But BBAU have taken the liberty to upload the original high quality videos from their archives. As a result they've had unauthorised copies removed which is well within their right. Hopefully you still have them saved to a drive somewhere. Perhaps you can make your content they've opted to exclude available to fill in the gaps?

This is not about his death but touches on their relationship breakdown and what I remembered reading about her ending things and later regretting it. Worth noting this was 4 years or so before his passing.

I wonder what the TV work Jo nearly had lined up was. I also feel she was attached to a movie called “Australian Pie” that supposedly exists but I don’t think ever saw the light of day.

What happened with the voting? I've never heard of that before?
I find the 2007 finale pure heartbreaking to watch unfold again. It’s one of the only episodes from the entire series that I desperately wish we could travel back in time to and stop them from showing the graph with images at the start of the programme.
What happened with the graph and images at the start as well?

During the first or second time showing the voting graph for the night, Gretel teased if everyone wanted to know who was who (as the housemates weren't physically shown) then they flicked a switch and revealed who was who, and the crowd went bezerk.

"Australian Pie” did see the light of the day. It was released on DVD in the United States under the name “Going Down Under”. The main character was played by Ed Kavalee who was relatively unknown at the time. And other Big Brother alumni: Aphrodite and Trevor from BB04 also appear. I can’t quite remember if other BB housemates make a cameo, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there were. The movie is probably on YouTube if you are curious to watch it.

BB03 is my favourite season, but I only managed to watch about 30 mins over the weekend. I remember when it first screened, absolutely hating Jo. My opinion was that she was too flirtatious and conceited, but looking at it now, it's the guys' attention which is the problem. Obsessive attention and endless discussions about Jo, cringey compliments and clearly unwelcome handsy behaviour. The girl was just trying to get through the game being as agreeable/popular as possible, when she probably wanted to tell them to back off. It's a double-edged sword, primarily trying to keep the HMs on side so you don't get nommed, whilst also appealing to the public in case you do. I think she focussed so much on the first strategy that she neglected the second. But it was a massive challenge for her with the glare of all that male attention. I do recall though, that she said on camera that the reason she was voted out was because the audience was jealous!
