As far as I remember, in one of the first week specials where she re-appears they say she is just someone that went through the audition process but wasn't selected to go in rather than being an actress.
 
There were two decoys hired to be fake housemates for the first episode. The other one was a police officer who was told to pull out by his superiors, as they didn't think it was appropriate behavior.

Regarding Belinda, wasn't she also fondling Carlo while she told the story?
 
Yeah the other guy's name was Brett iirc, If you go to my thread on the newspaper/magazine clippings I kept and scanned from the time, He and Tamara both had headshots like the rest and everything and were published in the papers the following day as part of the Launch coverage.

I know Uplate isn’t in the plan, but it’d be kinda nice if they uploaded the very first episode (or even just the first 15 minutes or so) for prosperity.

It was very tame, and I think quite short. Would just be cool to see.
 
Went on a bit of a search to see what the 2003 HMs look like now... Even with the low quality image, you can tell Jo has made some poor choices regarding her face. Which is a shame. :(

IIRC the first episodes were literally a live feed with no Mike Goldman or anything.
 
Watching this waiting screen properly, I've noticed that an outline of the newer style eye appears every 7 seconds.

I love it when people care about their work.
 
I forgot about the rain here. Once was enough to make them move permanently to the auditorium from 2004 onwards.

Meanwhile BBUK has constantly had rain issues over the years and never changed.

For BB03 they set it up along the road that tracks down to the amphitheater, not at the rear of the house like 2001 and 2002 The BIG BROTHER on the road was there for over a decade afterward.
