Rewatch Big Brother 2001 YouTube stream (Aug 1-3)

So I figure if anyone can help me with something it’ll be the superfans…

Does anyone here happen to have access to any pre-season 2001 promos or teasers? From a collector standpoint, ads promoting the first season are the rarest of all 18 seasons (even a few CBB promos are floating around out there) and I’d love to round out the set. (I also have a plan to showcase these at some point.)

A very early “coming soon” campaign started on Ten in January 2001, with proper teasers and promos ramping up heavily during March and into April 2001. I only have copies of maybe 2 or 3 ads from this time, but there’s definitely more…

At this stage a lot of these early ads are considered lost media.

An even rarer gem would be finding the original casting call “apply now” promo featuring Rove (a snippet is shown in the Big Brother Revealed special from BB01), which aired from around November 2000 through as late as January 2001.

I currently have a lead by a YouTuber who archives old VHS tapes that might be able to source some footage. But if anyone else can assist, or know of someone who can, feel free to reach out!
 
When they've launched the marathons, they've nuked the main channel (bigbrotheroz) that had all the BBAU episodes but also lots of promos. I think the guy also had two or three promos for season 1, which may or may not be the ones that you have. The channel is gone but the guy is still on Instagram and Twitter. So it might be worth to see what he had:

Yep. The ones they had were just reposted from other places - it was most likely this and this. Those are the most commonly circulated over the years - and very LQ - but there’s definitely others in existence. I’m specifically looking for the teasers in the lead-up to the premiere.

There was another cool promo featuring a psychologist, which I have, that’s no longer online (…for now ;)).
 
I remember they had a billboard or something with the eyes at the Sydney Royal Easter Show in 2001 (Easter Sunday was 15th April so it would've been on for two weeks right in the lead up pre-launch).
