Tim comforts Ben (sorry for the low quality, doesn't seem to be on YouTube, unless you go looking for the fragment in the episode). Whether you're in the fake or not fake camp, I think that was a genuine moment for him. It'd be hard to be lifted out of life into this intense, fun experience with all these great people, and to know that it can't last forever and you have to go back. Getting a taste of some other life only makes the contrast hurt more.

I can see how the contrast makes the fear of returning to a lonely life greater.

But, this season of this show, shows possibilities of a richer life for everyone if they open themselves to new experiences and new people with curiosity and enthusiasm.

At least that is what I've learned from it and why I love these housemates - and all their failings and arguments and sometimes incredibly irritating behavior-just makes it all the sweeter.

I am sure that Ben saw that side of life in the big brother house too.
 
It is perhaps mean-minded of me to mention this - but three pages in and I've yet to see a mention of Jade in anyone's best moments.

Oh, yes! When she launched herself onto Ed, who remained stiff as a cardboard cutout of a man.
Oh, that was gold, when she folded Ed's underpants with a serious face.
Oh, the bit where she wandered about blankly, listless c/- starvation dieting. And the bit where she put herself down! Again! The bit where she rued the fact that she'd never be good enough for Ed. Hilarious, and heartwarming.

God love her, and may her family save her from rotten Ed, but it would be a travesty if she won this year.
 
There have been a lot of moments this season; I really loved the Freeze-Task, just to pick one out. I am too to old to remember some single situations ;-)

I'll give it a shot! Any time she was with Drew caring for him and connecting with him. She shined so bright in the Diary room on her first night. And her speaking Italian, just beautiful. It's a shame she went downhill with Ed but it was great to see her, as Drew said, "back from the dead" ~ until I saw her sniff Eds jumper while star gazing with Mr Clooney And all I could think was "Nooooooooooo, don't go there!" I have a soft spot for her because I can see her potential but I think she wasted a lot of time with Ed and it may cost her the game. We will know soon enough.

The freeze task was so great! In the bathroom when Tim and Ed dressed Drew up as a star wars character - that was hilarious!

That's where Tim won me over. It was the type of thing Paul (BB04) would have done, and made me think we were going to get a similar personality for this season. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. :(

While I'm not overly excited about him now, he did make this season worth watching, and is a deserving winner for that reason.

Also enjoyed Lucy putting Tahan in her place the second week regarding the teacher comments, and Tahan's fits of denial and backpedalling in response.

Tim's fake birthday!

Tim and Drew's Mr. Chuckles act and Day Spa.

That night in the Gold Bedroom when Tim, Drew, Ben, Ed, and Matt had a pillow fight.

Tim putting himself up for eviction and saving Mikkayla. Great strategic move and it worked.

All of Tim's nominations e.g. "Did you get that Tully" "No guts no glory" "Ed has impressive abs but I am yet to see any guts" "Matt is a bit of a prawn". Also the night Tim's Dad Phil nominated hahaha!

Complete with hand motions and pronouncing here as if it has two syllables.

Oh splendid Melore, not only do I agree with everything you said, you used 'rotten' in a sentence which is my favourite descriptor. Reading your posts has been a joy for me throughout this BB season. <3

Thanks, I just came into this thread trying to think of what I was going to post here earlier today and this reminded me:

Jade crying after Jazmin kissed Ed.

(Mean I know, but funny, it's not as if they were together and it was all just fun and games, well for everyone except Jade! That's when I started wondering WTF was wrong with this girl?).
