Ben's too good to be true

Yes, Ben's a strange one but he's a sweet strange one that I'd be more than happy to get to know. He's not my favourite but he is in my favourite list. I'm not revealing who I like in what order in my Love list - it's personal but everyone knows I love Drew first :D
 
I'm glad Ben's nominated now because I want to see if his percentage of save votes has gone down since last week now that we've seen a bit more of him. What was with him in tonight's episode when he was giving his photos a tour of the bedroom and pretending they were talking to him?

Good lord, that was live, BB had no choice in showing it. HMs have had pictures of relatives since series 1, and BB can choose to show or not show HMs looking at photos, as edited coverage.

I love to watch Ben as a housemate. He is my mum's favourite. I was rather shocked when he called Tim a dickwad tonight. I didn't think he would be the kind of person who would call someone that. He just seems so pleasant and soft.
 
Gone off Ben, all the other posters who indicate that he is not sitting right with them are right.
So over his talking to the pictures and 'twisting'.
And when he called Tim a dickwad , he seemed so comfortable doing so. Hmmm, def makes me wonder about him.
If he got fired from his job does anyone know why ?

And if he's unemployed why was he talking last night about 'people he works with' having partners who are chefs. Not people he used to work with. I find his whole persona contrived.

Oh yeah, I have never been a fan of his nor have I ever trusted him. When he talks to the pictures or whinges in the DR he really grates on my nerves, but... he sometimes is actually funny and that's certainly better than anything I see or hear of Heidi.
Ergo: Let's keep Ben for a little longer and get rid of Heidi asap.

Yes. Ben is strange and I don't think I like him but he's way more interesting than Heidi or Matt imo.

Exactly. I'm so sick of hearing people bitch about it for that reason.
 
Just saw this on the live updates:

Ben is telling Tim about his life and how he’s in a bit of a rut. Tim tells him that he should get into entertainment. Ben says he’d love to but might be too insecure. “Ben, you’re shining fine on your own,” Tim counsels him.

Surprise surpsie, Ben would love to get into entertainment. Maybe he thinks BB will be his stepping stone!
I'm getting over him more every day.

or Ed even, lol. I prefer entertaining characters rather than bland ones who are just sort of "there" kind of swaying by and doing nothing and being really neutral. Doesn't make for good entertainment
 
I think that ben is just ben
he is used to living alone
some moments he is sociable
some times he is awkward
though the photo frame scenes are a bit odd
however he has his compassionate moments eg jasmine and mikk
 
I'd love to see Ben, maybe in a final situation, with only someone with a sense of humour, and he just starts to speak in his ocker voice, and just laughs at the act he had going all season.

He came out strong, to earn sympathy. Now, the public are a bit jaded, and he has slipped into the background; a good place in the early middle of BB. He needs to help get the threats out; Caleb is a threat, Ed or Matt could be. Get them out. Tim is a threat, and Drew, but he could use them to get out the boys. The girls will probably take care of themselves.

I would love to see say Drew and Ben, having a beer with their feet up laughing about Ben's game. It doesn't seem anyone from 9 has read the rules, so I guess they can talk about whatever they want.

Who would be okay with it, and who would take it personally? Tully would freak. Heidi would use it as a reason to evict him. E, C and M would talk together about how bad it was and that it was just so negative and not positive, y'know, but if just one of them was alone, assimilated, with the other two long gone, I reckon they would see the funny side. Drew would laugh. Tim might laugh if Ben can bond with him between now and then. Tahan, Mikkayla, hard to say. The girls, well, they did have a good week, but the thought of watching a show with just them and Caleb at the end is so horrifying that I will not even allow them into this hyperthetical.
