Benjamin HM 2012 - Officially joins Behind Big Brother.

Because she didn't win :bang::bang::bang:

She didn't win because Ben got more votes. Why would Estelle fans get complacent in the final week? I understand if they didn't have enough money to vote for her, or if Ben fans had more money to spend on Ben. But surley no Estelle fan truly believed that Estelle was going to win in the final week and therefore they didn't need to vote for her?

I think you're missing the point. Estelle fans were voting for her in the final week until they released the graph showing she was way in front.Her fans probably thought they didn't need to keep voting when they saw that thinking the others couldn't catch her from that point. That was combined with the Estelle haters and Ben/Layla fans seeing it and voting like crazy to make sure she didn't win.

I didn't add an s to friend.

I know 10 friends that didn't vote after they showed her face on the % votes.

So your ten friends not voting because they thought Estelle would win meant that Ben won big brother?

I think you're missing the point. Estelle fans probably thought they didn't need to keep voting when they released the graph showing she was way ahead. Probably thought the others couldn't catch her from that point and stopped voting or stopped voting as much. That was combined with the Estelle haters and Ben/Layla fans seeing it and voting like crazy to make sure she didn't win.

Why would they stop voting just because she was ahead on the Monday?

Because they'd already spent a lot of money on her and didn't want to spend more if it looked like she was going to win easily anyway?

Would they have truly believed that? It seems from this thread alone there were a lot of people who liked Ben just as much as Estelle.

I did. Like I said, id already run out of money voting for her through the series and when I saw she was well ahead I was happy to stop thinking she had it won.

Would you have still voted for her if you did have money to spend on big brother in the final week?

of course that happened the Vote tally days before showed she was winning and that makes people complacent, Human Nature

Think some people really need to get over this and move on. Estelle came 3rd. Ben won. Nothing said now is going to change that.
All this talk about Estelle somehow being ripped off and should have won reminds me why I wasn't a fan of hers - some of her supports are way too over the top.

So there were no other reasons why Ben won big brother, such as Ben fans voting twice as hard, or other housemate fans voting for Ben, or that Estelle fans didn't have as much money to spend compared to Ben fans due to Estelle being up for nominations so many times?

I know Estelle lost. But I don't think it was because her fans became complacent.
