And I thought Allison Grodner (EP of the U.S. version) was bad.
You know this whole thread turned to crap for me. I am adult enough to respect both Ben and Estelle's opinions and thoughts. I just wish they could agree to disagree and let it go. To my mind, it doesn't matter what each of them say, Estelle fans will jump on Ben and vice versa.
To me, and I may be the only one feeling this way, the back and forth between Estelle and Ben in this thread is bordering on bullying itself. I understand Estelle feels the need to defend things she knows to be true, but seriously, how many times does Ben have to ask to move forward? Can't you both just agree not to speak about each other negatively?? Please???
I wasn't a fan of either in their series, I was a fan of Layla, so I'm not team Estelle or Team Ben, and can appreciate and respect both of their positions in this. Only the two of them truly know what happened in that house, we can only speculate.

Ben cannot understand why everyone doesn't love him the way he expected to be loved as a BB winner. He is 200 percent certain the fault is not with him so he places the blame on his victim, Estelle, and is convinced if he can just make everyone else see her the way he see's her the adulation he feels entitled to will be his.
He can't let it go because he is convinced all he has to do to get the adulation he is entitled to is wear down all opposition so over and over and over again he spins the story, Estelle was not who you believed, he did nothing wrong apart from making normal human mistakes. He is sorry but if you knew what he knows you wouldn't blame him etc. etc.
He figures one day Estelle will give up defending herself and the world will be as it should be - at his feet.

Starting off, I know my opinion, is just that, mine. No more or less important than others. By way of resolving the Ben vs Estelle issue for myself, where I stood, so I could move on with a full-stop firmly in my wake, the following was my process.
During the show I watched it with my partner, another BB tragic. We discussed at length what we were force fed to watch via editors with agendas. I read this forum but did not post. Post show, I have heard via social media all kinds of info, mostly influenced from what came directly from the horses mouth.
Like all of us, Ben and Estelle are a mix of traits and idiosyncrasies. Some I liked/like... some I didn't/don't. At the end, I decided after many mullings and conversations that I would just sit with everything and let my intuition guide me.
My intuition tells me Ben is generally a toxic person. My intuition tells me Estelle is generally a 'good egg'.
Nothing posted here has changed my overall opinion RE Ben and Estelle.
My opinion of Alex and the producers has worsened; didn't think that was possible. I Hate the manipulations from the inception of the show... to influencing whom the winner will be... according to their preferred ending, i.e the whole crapola of the first gay marriage proposal on tv which clearly had already been staged by Ben and producers prior to the show. Thanks Estelle for the info... no wonder Ben is so keen to move things along or take it off-line.
To those calling for Ben and Estelle to take it elsewhere. WHERE!
This is a Behind Big Brother Forum. Those in the Post HM Threads trail for hours through social media for this stuff. Here it is in our house. Are you guys for real!
Lastly... Estelle, I think you were robbed and hope a windfall comes your way however in the future. Ben, your lack of personal insight, denial and inability to stand in the truth looks like continuing to be a noose around your neck. Good luck with it all.

Not at all. It was all done and dusted ages ago. Not sure why but Ben still has it in for Estelle. I don't even think he knows why. A problem with his conscience perhaps?
Also I think Ben has stated he has tried to improve on himself since his series, he has also admitted that some of his past behaviour was and is unacceptable. What more do you guys want from him?? He has repeatedly asked if we can all move forward, including Estelle, yet alot of you appear to not be happy unless we burn him at the stake?? Far out, there are worse people in the world than Ben.
Personally I'd rather hear the positive stories about their time in the house, not what this thread has become. Estelle seems to me (as I don't really know her) an intelligent woman who would have much more interesting views on other things, rather than feel the need to defend/comment on everything Ben says. I'd love to hear her opinion on current events, like the War in Afghanistan/Iraq, the ISIS/journalist killings etc? It is that side of Estelle's personality that interests me, not her comments about feeling the need to defend things that happened in the house 2 bloody years ago!!! It happened, its out there, the past is the past for a reason! Let it stay there where it belongs.
I realise my views will probably not be popular here, but I'm okay with that. My view on things at age 40 are vastly different than they were in my 20's. I would just like to see some decent questions and answers instead of the nastiness this has turned into.

Exactly. Ben is outraged that he read this forum and saw he was one of the most disliked BB winners here hence his caption "apparently I am the most hated BB winner ever".
Probably the main motivation for him joining here to try and get people on his side and massage his ego. But all he can do is try and bring Estelle down
@Benjamin2012HM How does it feel to win because of producers manipulation and ex housemates (your crew) support?

So...... Estelle or Ben, do you have any positive or fun stories you'd like to share about your time in the Big Brother House? Your favorite tasks, for example.
Yes that is me. I was gonna do the whole anonymous avatar thing, but if I'm not afraid to voice my opinion in written form, I shouldn't be afraid to hide my face at the same time. As I said, my opinion on things at age 40 is different at age 20. No way would I have put my actual picture on anything at that age. I spent too much time worrying what other people would think of me back then, now after 4 kids and some hard things to deal with in life, I'm more about speaking what's on my mind, and try to do so in a positive manner.
My favorite task was the unwanted guests - just to be in the house with my favorite past housemates - and to see my Mum. Was a dream!!!. I thought seeing Mum wouldn't be so emotional but as soon as I saw her and smelt her perfume. I couldn't help but be overwhelmed with emotion. I just was glad she could be flown up - have her hair and make up done and be part of the show. I am very proud of my mother. I am proud of the friendship we have - she is a best friend and not just my Mum.
When Estelle and I knew we had met before the house / show was fun. We kept trying not to let people know we had met in auditions
That is very true. But it is annoying how he has decided to join up here and tries to justify his behaviour in the house and can't help trying to bring Estelle down yet again.
Like I said before he is here for his bruised ego and promoting his Scoopla project.
