Benjamin HM 2012 - Officially joins Behind Big Brother.

Hopefully one day you and Stella can both bury the hatchet.
After 2 years out of the house I think it is safe to assume that that day will be never. I think it should be obvious by now that reconciliation is not part of Ben's DNA, especially when he is still adamant he really didn't do anything wrong and it was Estelle (victim) who was mostly responsible for being the object of ridicule.

^^ And good thing this is a complete lie. I've been brought up by one of the biggest humanitarians for a Mother
Although because of my career, I had to remain Apolitical. My views on climate change have ALWAYS been consistent. I studied Environmental Science before I started my Law degree... Meaning:

I am completely assured in the fact that unfortunately climate change DOES indeed exist and I will always base my opinion on the Science of it and the evidence in the polar ice caps melting etc is a no brainer.

As for barking, I would say "meow" quite frequently but not as a response... If any of you have quirky silly friends it's an endearing thing.

As for changing your mind, I never address this crap individually.

How about we discuss how you went into the house ANTI-GAY marriage, yet you were carrying an engagement ring the whole time - Please explain this?

I am merely responding to the absolute bullshit that Benjamin feels the needs to air to try and justify his nasty tongue.

And as for “playing up for the cameras” Benjamin how about you explain how all of your moments that were considered “comical” how you told us afterward they were all stolen from TV routines.
And any of the “spontaneous” looking tasks he was on, were fed to him by the producers?

Sour grapes, no – Facts.

Stop the bullshit lies Ben.
Damn, that ether

Stunt on them haters

Was Ben the one in the house who had never kept a job?

I can see why to be honest if that was him.

I met him at Brisbane Pride Festival last year while I was working behind the bar (he was part of the billed entertainment, which i didnt get because all he did was walk around and pout) and he rude, obnoxious and sour faced, moreso than he was in the house. What we saw with Ben on TV was actually probably the kinder side of him from what i'm gathering.

Yeah but Estelle said he was against gay marriage. Or maybe she made a mistake. He couldnt possibly be that much of a troll...could he?

No mistake. It went like this:

Auditions : Ben made a stand against gay marriage - to be noticed.

In the house: For the first 3 weeks was insistent to the other HMs and public he was a gay man who stood against gay marriage ..

After a conversation with Sarah : He made a huge deal that he had "seen the light" and now trusted that he was in favour of gay marriage.

3 days from the finale : Alex tells us that indeed Ben had always been carrying an engagement ring and had intended on proposing on stage if he was in the finals.

HUH? yes HUH.... Please explain.

The motive is clear, no excuses. It's on camera !

Is anyone else stressing over this weeks nominations? I kind of feel like we can't lose any of the people nominated.

Personally, I wouldn't mind losing David.

However, there are more pressing matters at the moment. Estelle's made a bold comment about you.

Lose Cat. Out of the nominees she is the most bland.....all she offers is sage remarks when asked.....boring.

To be honest i didnt really pay attention to Ben until he really started to get a lot of air time from his bitchy comments. Why am i not surprised though?

What a fake, forced, contrived individual. The only part of him that is genuine is his nasty streak.

Seriously though - don't hate, appreciate. You have the opportunity to ask a question and get an answer from the source. For real.

Welp! This just shows that as much as people try you just can't get along with everyone.

Onwards and upwards

Thanks for answering questions ben.

You said you were shocked you won. I can remember the moment you did, I think I watched it 20 times. You lost your fricken shit layla was comforting you.

I hate how the housemates get to decide out of the pair who goes.
say goodbye to anyone entertaining!!

Yes.

I like the way you rose above and glided right over all that crazy talk.

Yeah because as we know thats totally in Ben's nature. To glide over things and let them go.

No. The only reason hes now choosing to ignore me, Estelle and other posters is because hes backed himself into a corner. He made several unfair, unjust and outright untruthful remarks about Estelle when he joined here and now that she has shown up to set the record straight, he has slithered back into his hole like the snake he is.

I am moving away from the direction Estelle is going in (for the record I have nothing against her. I just simply had difficulty with her on a TV show two years ago. I have no ongoing feelings of hate - I actually wish her all the best and still try to make contact with her. Sometimes sending her advice and nice texts messages) - everything she has posted is FACT in relation to my time in the house. Although I don't support the negativity she has directed at the producers. - I did go on a journey with my beliefs on marriage - inside and outside of the house - I did always plan to propose to Ben right from the start. but I WAS NOT always comfortable with my sexuality (I think growing up in the 90's was a factor), my prejudices about same sex marriage were a derivative of my own self loathing. I was at times hard and hurtful toward myself as it took awhile to become fully comfortable with my sexuality. My Mum actually asked me to propose to Ben and offered the family stone - not a ring. I was planning on asking Ben to marry me in New York city two months before Big Brother. But changed my mind when I started to feel I was going to be on Big Brother. I had been knocked back three times before in the final hurdle of auditions and I thought telling the producers I would propose when evicted would be the final effort to secure my place in the house. It was discussed heavily - that I would be happy to propose even if I came out of the house first. (I still would have.) When inside the house I felt is was still being true to myself that I would argue for and against about same sex marriage. I thought the audience would be more interested to see the journey I had been on in the outside world. before they saw my proposal and judged me as a political statement. I love Ben and we are still not married. Because its not legal. Mind you Ben and I are still together and very much in love. Also Alex and I still laugh at the fact he thought I would be evicted first and we can't believe I won. The way it turned out - was simply magic and I am still in shock.

I am also eclectic with my TV heroes. I begged borrowed and stole from my hero's - Brenda (90210) - Kristen Wiig (SNL) - Claire Danes (My so called Life) and a list of other tragic shows from the 90's. I credit them as much as I can. I think we all pretend we are like our famous favourites. Yet I still think that is an extension of yourself.

Estelle. I am happy to answer your questions - I do think privately. As this is not the time or the place. I don't think you can whole heartedly blame me for your bad experiences on the show. There were far more haters inside that house which your have forgiven. Why have you singled me out? I just don't know. Maybe its because the public also saw me as the main culprit. I am not sure. What I will say, is how much I have learnt since my time in the house, almost paranoid to make up for what I felt shameful of. I would never mean to hurt anyone and I hope if anything, The bad behaviour seen on the show - which people detested - gave people something to learn WHAT NOT TO DO from.

I would like to move fwd and talk about the fun times. Not because I am ignoring questions but because I would like to be a happy person who leaves negativity at the door. I am a flawed character and I speak without thinking. I hope my opinions from hear on out - are entertaining and not humiliating at the expense of others.
