Ooh just discovered this thread, I'm in!
Ben makes it worth watching.
And I can't look at Imperial Leather soap the same way.

I've just realised who he reminds me of - it's been bugging me since he came in the house. He looks just like Sean Hayes... or is it that he seems to model himself on the Jack character from Will and Grace?

It's a certain physical resemblance teamed with a penchant for physical comedy.

Ben is a great Housemate. I was so happy when he entered the House because I feared we would have a House without a character like him and can you guys imagine what it would be like to watch this series without Ben in it?
I think what you're trying to say is that you are glad that there is an over the top stereotypical gay guy in the house.
Only diff to previous seasons is that this one has anger management issues and likes to lash out at people either physically or verbally.

I think Ben will keep the house entertaining - maybe not the best representative of the gay community - anyway - I've thrown a few Save votes his way - I haven't voted on BB since David in 2006. David had a few Anger Management issues lol.
Thanks for stating that, I think I am aware of what I was trying to say though.I think what you're trying to say is that you are glad that there is an over the top stereotypical gay guy in the house.

If that is your opinion then fair enough!

BUMP - just kidding..
There does't seem much enthusiasm for the current buch of housemates - at least not as much as back in 2006 when I last got heavily involved in BB forums. Maybe I'm older or FaceBook and Twitter are where younger people are making their voices heard.

Ben is safe for another week. A tleast I don't have to fill BB coffers with votes this week. I hope Ray stays in but not interested enough to vote to save him.
Hey look what I found, Freja!! A Ben appreciation thread!

And I still appreciate Ben!

Oh yay Ben! Fave housemate of 2012! Thank goodness we don't have to vote for him every week like a lot of ben appreciators originally thought.

I was a little worried when he came in, thinking "oh god, here we go. Another stereotypical gay housemate." but he has impressed me. He seems to keep a certain order in the house. He probably won't win in the end, but I hope he does.

Ben is why I watch, and we need Ben quotes =
He also tells the story of how at one of his parties a mate took a photo of him hosing out a suitcase.
“I need to water these suitcases so a holiday will grow out of them,” Benjamin apparently explained to his friend. Hilarity ensues.
