BBUK 2016 - Series discussion

Watched the recent bb episode.

I like andy. Out of all the males in the house, I like him the best. It was so sad watching him cry like that. The clique needs to be broken, to give people like andy and Jayne a chance. Georgina needs to go. Maybe then the clique can reevaluate their behaviour.

I've spent way too much of my day off on bb. Who am I kidding though. I'll be on YouTube everyday day refreshing that channel :p
I still want Ryan to win.

The part where Jason asks what's wrong with Jackson after getting "emotional" with Emma, and puts his arm around Jackson... I was really hoping Jason would choke slam him or something. How fucking annoying has he become?

Omg Emma's face when he went crazy, I need a gif of that moment. i need a gif of that for all of Jackson and Georgina moments

My predictions for a final three are Jason, Alex and Andy.

Andy, cause I like him and want someone like him to get through. Alex, because he's dead boring and pretty so he probably won't be voted to be evicted. Jason, cause he seems the type to go far.

On the rise: Laura and Evelyn. Beat the clique, girls, by being yourselves and talking in an interesting way, and don't let BB telling the others your secrets stop you. Also, Emma, surprisingly. She apologised to George, and even when G was being a bitch about it, Emma still had the guts to keep pushing her, to hopefully help her to realise that maybe she hasn't been blameless... But princess knows better. Would like to see Emma see that Andy is nice, and those two be nice together - give him some emotional support, even if intellectually he wants to kill himself. Jayne is okay too.

Falling: Jackson. His hissy fit fifteen year old tantrums have to stop. Drew could handle being wound up. He can't, and the frustration she is building in him is exploding.

Down: Georgina. Please be shocked. Please go. Sam. Please obviously change tack after she goes, and prove EV and Laura were right about you. Lateysha, I can't wait to see your face when Jayne and Andy are cheered and George booed.

Don't care: Ryan and Hughie - I don't like to admit I watch a show they are on.

A bit later:

George genuinely seems to find it hard to speak if she is not allowed to be negative.

And re Andy's nominations - people just want to interpret his action in the most negative way. Like when Narco left, and he said 'That's a reality check.' They all chose to take it as a 'Cop that, ya smug wanker.' Instead, he meant 'Wow. We all thought he was so popular.'

This is starting to get to the sort of insight into people I enjoy big brother for.

But, Charlie and Jayne dancing like sorority girls.... Urgh.

I've lost all liking for Jackson after today's episode (I wasn't a fan at first, but I was hoping better from him). The way he handled his hissy fit was atrocious. But I couldn't help laughing at Emma's shocked face during his rambling. He was unnecessarily rude towards Emma. He should of - actually you know what, I don't even know why he had that conversation with her in the first place. Big Brother is a game not a land full of sunshine and rainbows. When he says the missus bullshit, what does he expect others to say? Be astonished by his amazing missus? Because EVERYONE would wish for his relationship.

What ever Jackson is doing its not working in his favour. The posh girl/street kid thing is the definition of cringe. He is very unhappy, Georgina's attitude has icolated him from talking to other people. Whether you deny it or not, she is very jealous of who he talks to. Take the bedroom situation for example. Georgina clearly is trying to get rid of him (possibly because of the son he has). But she still wants that control, she thrives of feeling needed so she continues it to get that reaction from him. By placing her insecurities on him she's gaining something he's too oblivious to see. And that is, he's social life. He's restrained himself from all the females in the house, all for her. The only other reason their relationship is this active is because the UK LOVE themselves a romance.

I felt really upset for Andy and Jayne. They were obviously feeling so devastated behind their fake smiles. People always say that they feel bad, after the actions have been implemented. Obviously, now as you're seeing their reactions you're going to feel bad. They don't deserve the hate they're getting. All of there sentences are twisted up now because they are the outsiders of the group. People think because they've nominated them every single week that they lose feelings. That's not the case. I can't wait for eviction night where hopefully Andy and Jayne get cheers, it'd definitely bring a smile on their faces and a frown a/o jaw drop from the others.

Also what is with the housemate's poor pronunciations? I'm not normally somebody to care but I couldn't dismiss how horrible it is. Take Emma, Jackson and Alex for instance. Maybe that's why Alex doesn't speak?

Could not of said it any better myself @Ezminus I 100% agree with your post.

Hopefully a new storyline will develop because the Jackson Georgina thing is just becoming a drain to watch. I'm over it. I can't see Georgina surviving eviction this week. She is gone.

I reckon Jayne will have her spirits lifted a lot because I'm sure the audience will cheer her. Andy maybe 50/50. I don't think he is mean or nasty I just think he is more mature than most of the housemates and certainly more intelligent than that cadre led by Lateysha.

I must say Chelsea was in fine form tonight. Its weird I'm beginning to actually like him. He needs to lay off the Jayne bashing otherwise he is very entertaining.

I really love Ryan and Hughie together, i genuinely believe he loves him and has strong feelings for him and Hughie would probably consider it if they were not in the house.

I would probably choose Hughie myself because he is less whiney and more adorable (and i can't afford the things Ryan wants in someone)

So what are the most common excuses for nominating HMs ?

boring, two-faced, game player and a new addition in 2016 :: patronising

Translated from dimwitted Hms 'logic', patronising means: intelligent... too intelligent for me... well that's just patronising and patronising I'm sure is a bad thing.

What a bunch of butter-brains :woot:

started watching Taking New York which Georgina was on, theyre pushing her as the priviliged angry girl... which isnt that hard to do

That looks like a Reality Show for rich kids huwman... I found that snippet on 'tellymix' where she says:

"I'd rather go for someone a little uglier that would be more into me than have someone who is really good looking and is not really fussed,"

...strange logic in most universes but apparently not on Planet Georgina!

I just couldn't help but comment on this very ironic scenario going on between Sam and the other housemates. Now excuse me for not capturing the whole story with the alcohol. As Andy said, they are like zoo animals, plus I've already got a migraine.

Sam says he "hates" how he's being ganged up on? He then scatters around complaining about nobody defending him. I do not care if he was in the wrong or the right, but that performance from him was disappointing. If you look closely, the people screaming at him are his fellow Bed Bitches. He has said things behind people's backs (ie. Jayne being vicious and the convo about her not hugging Natalie). He expects sympathy for people after he has been openly rude to people. Or shall I say, behind their backs. Andy was also in a similar situation the other day (and also every other misunderstanding), where he's literally being yelled at, talked over and ignored on multiple occasions. The amount of immaturity Sam's rant has shown is speechless.

His best friend Lateysha didn't even defend him. And I know a lot of people probably think:
"Well maybe because she was just trying to be valid." But hold on. If she was trying to be valid she'd know and listen to what Andy was saying, as well as Jayne in the eviction instance. Now I'm no saint but you'd think these housemates would think before they speak. Most of these housemates are around their mid twenties as well. I know plenty of youngsters that don't act like that. It's all about self responsibility and manners.

The next bone to pick is in fact Georgina's hopeless attempts to restore her reputation. During the task where Jackson got viewer complaints, the viewer said something along the lines of Georgina not being proud to bring him home. She retaliated before you could even say the word spaghetti. It was obvious she said it, I recall it somewhere. A lot of people agree. She's either playing dumb or genuinely doesn't remember it, it was definitely said though.

Also guess what? Alex spoke!

Georgina, what a back-stabbing, spoiled little bitch! She is now making me sick!

According to the Memsahib, Evelyn is as boring as dishwater... hm... let's see - who spends most of the day in bed rolling her eyes moaning and moping? I would have thought that to be the definition of boring.
I wish they'd explain how a task or a segment of a task is actually supposed to be executed for example: Was it a part of Georgina's task to question Jackson whether he thought he'd have more fun with Evelyn and whether he thinks he is her puppet?
Watching this gave me the impression I was witnessing an inquisition in which Jackson was the accused and the Memsahib the inquisitor. What a stuck-up little shit she is!! :punch::punch::punch:

After the announcement that the HMs had passed the shopping task, Chelsea tried to snog Georgina - the 'Jewel in the Crown' descendant snogging the Memsahib :woot: ...did anyone see that?
Memsahib wasn't going to have any of this and deftly turned her head to the side so the planned full frontal Blitzkrieg turned out to be a mere peck on the cheek. That is weird stuff. Is this actually the reason why Chelsea chose Georgina to be promoted?

Sam turned from a snake into a pussy. Poor guy. 3, THREE!!! people were going at him at once and he was wrongly accused of shouting when he was only 'expressing' himself.
How does it feel to be ganged up on Sammy boy? He just couldn't stand on his own two feet when his 'mother' Lateysha reprimanded him, let him slip and fend for himself for a moment.

That shout-fest was really instigated and perpetuated by Sam, yet Hughie gets called to the DR. Why always Hughie? Does that BB spokesman have a personal vendetta against Hughie?
Yes, in each instance Hughie seems to be shouting the loudest but only because a thousand voices try to drown him out. Why all the other HMs always pick him out to be the culprit is a mystery to me.

Finally someone took on pretty boy Alex and I was so excited that now I can't remember who it was LOL

Charlie is an ugly, 'the biological clock is ticking', desperate, vacuous basket case whose mouth seems to be running on automatic pilot. Her argumentation, phrases and clichés are as old as the hills and you just know what she is going to say next.

Have we ever had an Alex scene transition? I don't think we have... He's been in there three weeks and Garnier products have had more screen time than he has...

Bahahahahahahaha... funny! Really funny!!!

I wonder if he opened his mouth because the alcoholic demons somewhere between his ears prompted him :woot:

Did you miss the part toward the end of the punch-bowl aftermath shouting match? Lateysha must have returned from shoe shopping or grooming and remembering her responsibilities, went and grabbed Sam by the scruff of the neck ( I am exaggerating) and told him in no uncertain terms that "I am your best friend!!! Now you come with me to the toilet!!" ... she could have worded that better I think :jawdrop:

About Georgina's claim that "I never said that"... I watched that moment several times and I am convinced, judging by her demeanour and finger at her teeth (a sign of suspense and preparation to strike) that she was fully aware that she had said it and actually half expected for it to be raised - but she is right, she never said THAT, meaning, she didn't use those exact words. She is sly.... her skills in defense during the pleasant pastime of having tea in the afternoon and a spot of bitching had been well honed at a young age... as befits those of the upper class. Don't you know.

I have no words, when the argument kicked off they may as well been speaking calathumpian. I did not understand a thing. I thank @Dystopia and @Ezminus for trying to make sense of that mess. Hughie does go off like a cracker though doesn't he. Sam is just farkin annoying.

Georgina - see you girl you are gone, nothing can save you now.

Charlie and Jason, infidelity, kicking dogs. Nah that went over my head as well. Last thing I understood was Jason went out on his birthday and drank 2.5 litres of something. From there we got to cheating and dog kicking. I'm going to need sub titles yo get through this season.

Hmmmm. Rumours seem to be swirling that the already short series has been cutback by a week and will end at the end of July, rather than the first week of August... I guess the plan is to axe it entirely.
