BBAU YouTube videos geoblocked and hidden

Selling ads via Google Adsense for YouTube or getting a fee per view from YouTube Premium users.
I would suspect that there has been a complaint from a foreign broadcaster and they're acting on that and now they've just blocked a couple of more countries to be on the safe side. Because I don't see the logic behind their blocks. It's not like they're just blocking countries that have their own version of Big Brother. Italy has its own version on the air right now, but videos are available in Italy. Poland had their last BB version before the pandemic, but the BBAU videos have been blocked in Poland.
Could it be that conservative Catholic governments are getting upset that Ten is allowing their citizens to have access to such viewing material?

I don't know if a foreign broadcaster or rights holder cares about BBAU on YouTube or not, since it only gathers like around 10k views or so (or lower)
But could it be because of rights conflict? (Because phillipines can still watch it i think) That is my best guess.

It's only been a wild guess because I couldn't figure out a logic behind the blocked countries.. I could see ITV being unhappy with BBAU being easily available, especially since there have been more favorable comments towards BBAU than their version (at least until "the biggest twist ever").
Right now I'm more inclined to believe that it's some other issue than a third party complaining about having their rights infringed. Because I was able to make a little bit more sense out of the blocked countries. Almost all of the countries that can still watch BBAU were also able to watch the first season of Celebrity Big Brother US on YouTube. The only exception that I've found is India that was blocked for CBBUS but is not blocked for BBAU.
So right now I would believe that they've followed a list from Banijay/Endemol Shine and that list being a bit outdated (which would be on track for Banijay though),

Yeah, I’m inclined to think it might’ve been an unexpected rights or licensing issue too. By all accounts, based on comments, the 2025 episodes were almost entirely being watched by international viewers. The season was receiving huge viewing numbers and engagement, and would have been getting some decent revenue as a result.
BBAU acknowledged foreign fans a few times, so it’s not like they didn’t realise. Someone else must’ve stepped in.

I hope one of our friends on here have the old season marathons safely stored away somewhere as I got midway through season 4 and that’s it but I plan to continue watching all of them. I feel like they could take it all down any time.
Also that sucks for overseas viewers to suddenly block it now, do that from the beginning if you have to instead of letting people get right into the season and then take it away.

As they complete each season I’ve ripped them simply just because of this reason. I have 1-3. Waiting for 4. I wish they were a little more transparent for the reason for this.
