BBAU 2025 house in Dreamworld Exhibition Centre

I suspected this aswell but was shut down by some other people on this forum. The live from dreamworld in the promos hinted to this

You weren't shut down for your theory (because then other people who read the "rare behind-the-scenes connection" in the Dreamworld press release would have been shut down as well). You were shut down for reading too much into a line from a promo. Even if people will be able to peak through a window into the garden, I'd still say that "live from Dreamworld" was not a secret clue for a zoo window but a nicer way of saying "This is not the pre-recorded crap you've seen on seven, this is OG"

Looks like my theory might be true! We may be getting a window into the house from the park.

Anyone else surprised by this? What are the legal ramifications if children are standing from the outside looking through the glass and a housemate does a backyard nude run into the pool with no idea members of the general public are looking in?

Either housemates are warned beforehand which takes away the authentic approach of letting the housemates loose to do what they do, or, the general public need to be 18+ to access this area.

I honestly don’t think it’s true. That window is tiny AF and surely they’re not going to let the public walk right up to the fence. Even with security guards it would be pretty difficult to stop anyone from attempting to communicate with the house.

I don’t think the exterior “wall” is in its finished state yet. Not if it’s on camera for housemates entering and departing. We could very well see smaller mirrors for hidden cameras. Could be a hatch. Could be exterior access for task equipment (thinking the World Cup task from 06 where the balls came from off-set). Could even be a spot for some sort of fancy lighting gear to be mounted. Could very well be a zoo window, albeit in a strange spot.

If they provide further construction updates it could be come clearer.

ya know... has anyone considered the possibility this 'Zoo window' might only be a very brief temporary thing as part of a weekly task or something? Like some of the Housemates have to be on standby in the garden at all times acting like an animal whenever park patrons are allowed to view through the windows, or they have to assemble in 1 minute otherwise incur a fail (There you go task dept, theres an idea lol)

For all we know it could even be a cutout for a TV screen, it’s right next to the door into the house so it wouldn’t be entirely impossible for there to be some kinda sheltered alfresco seating area right there leading into the lounge room in the house

Perhaps part of a "paid" BB Experience for park visitors. They might be able to get a photo in a copy of the Diary Room chair and the hole in the wall could be for a TV that shows a livestream of the house, likely a multi-camera feed. But who knows 😂

Crazy to think we are only WEEKS from launch.

A little off topic here, but stumbled across this on my recommended YouTube videos the other day. There has been a little discussion about comparisons to the purpose built compound that burned down a few years ago and the new house in the exhibition centre. Tried to find the post I'm specifically referencing but proved unsuccessful. Needless to say...

Some of you may have seen this, but wanted to point out how the space was changed starting in BB3. At 2:29 the user shows us the "ceiling" (or loft area) of the old compound. This was the area originally exposed in the living and kitchen area during BB1 and BB2. Ceiling fans were attached to the rafters. Interesting to see how the interior footprint of the compound was changed starting in 2003. I do not see 10, or any other network for that matter, putting the investment into constructing a building like this again.

I also find the entrance placement to the last season that used this house quite bizarre. I always find these videos a bit sad, especially while revisiting the original seasons in the marathons. Shame they couldn't have found a way to keep the site occupied and maintained.

This was pretty devastating. I'm all for UrbEx, but vandals are such arseholes. I'd like to think a purpose built house could still be a thing but pretty doubtful these days. Let's see how this season goes and where 10 goes from here. A longer season won't be ideal if they need to shut down DW rides for 10 weeks, so I kinda hope the noise factor disrupts the show next month and forces their hand. 😁 Gold Coasters go do your thing!

Oh it’s giving BBUK ITV…
This isn’t necessarily a bad thing… If the theming had a bit more variety to it between series we’d have a much more favourable view of it. It’s otherwise a pretty decent house and a step up from what they had at Elstree. Even with the annex built in 2016 they’d pretty much outgrown it by about a decade.

I’m also quite sure that had they been able to secure the Platinum Stages that replaced the old purpose built house we’d also have a lot more favourable views.

As for BBAU I can’t say things look like they’re the most ideal setup in terms of location but I’d say right now it’s difficult to pass judgement on what the finished product is going to look like or what impact it being located inside the park is actually going to have. I know we all what the best for this series but the paranoia is starting to grate. Not saying we all need to love everything we’re seeing but not every critique needs to be “this looks like ITV” or addressing the use of visible camera/lack of camera runs etc.

I honestly really liked the 2023 ITV House, it felt like a really good balance between "TV show set" and "actual house designed for people to live in". Plus, it doesn't look like anything that's been done on BBAU before, so... like, we'd know what inspired it, but most viewers wouldn't.

I didn't particularly like the 2024 or 2025 Houses, though, so my entire point hinges on which ITV House they're copying. If indeed they are. 😅
