Omg it's a faint carbon copy of ITV. I knew that was assumed but good lord.
Let's hope it's actually produced well.

Way too many colours and the overuse of LED strip lighting….. Not really a fan.
But there seems to be some ceilings! Ha
Just not convinced there is one in the lounge and bathroom.
No shower curtains is a plus! And the eye from promo is in fact not the yard, or the DR - looks nice tbh.
One positive, it appears there is a ceiling? Or the walls are just really high.

At the end of the day it’s the format and the casting that really matters. It’s jarring for sure but I think they’re trying to strike a balance between OG viewers while attracting newer audiences and we know the youngens these days are attracted to new and shiny.
That was my first reaction too.
I don’t hate it. I’ll grow on me.
But my initial thoughts about the layout, aesthetic and overall design being an almost exact copy-paste of the BBUK house (as well as the stage) makes me nervous. I really, really hope that’s where the comparisons end.

I see ceilings!
Shower curtains replaced with glass doors.
Even the on-screen graphics are giving BBUK.
Exactly - the angles and the way it’s shot triggered me (also because of Seven). This is what worries me.
This could quite literally be confused for BBUK:
Alright… I’m happy with it! I almost didn’t want to watch and leave it for a surprise but probably hard to avoid now. We have a ceiling in the bedroom at the very least. Yes! I wonder if that’s one of the first things shown to shut up the whiners like me 
I don’t mind the colours/decor, not exactly my thing but neither was some of the old houses. I think they’ve done a great job with that space. The diary room chair ties in with the fish tank too

The tiny mirrors spotted around are an interesting choice given the lack of camera runs. Hidden hot head cameras or manned cameras I wonder?
Also doesn’t look like they plastered the walls with hot heads like the UK.
The house will grow on me if they produce the actual show well. If they mess this up the show won’t be off to a good start.

Exactly. On Tiktok and Insta everyone is loving it, a few mentions of it being very ITV too.

I suppose I do not understand the need to produce this show with a “luxury” house like they seem to be doing now. Sometimes less it more. But the newer generation does seem to like things shiny and sparkly.
Should we be expecting pop music backing tracks in the edits now too?
