A new BB ad aired just now during the Survivor finale revealed that as expected the show will start in November. It had Mel Tracina in the control room making the announcement.

Is anyone able to try and capture the full-screen, non vertical version from TV at some point? I imagine they'll re-air it particularly during tomorrow's TAR premiere.

It's a really good promo. Just the AI BB voice at the start lets it down. I wonder why Peter was dropped from it.
Theme sounds like a mix of 2003 melody / 2001 backing with a bit more of a beat behind it. I like it

What I’m really interested to see is if the theme remix in the video is the actual theme. If so, did they manage to get 001 Productions to do it, or someone else to get creative and split the stems to create this new version… I get the vibes that 001 Productions was a “mate” of someone in the production company/network who created the theme at the time. I wonder if we’ll get the announcement this evening, given the Gretel/TAR crossover moment. Would make sense but would they be that speedy?

They only launched the latest promo literally last night, which will run for the next little bit.
If you're referring to the "standby for an important announcement" part, the promo literally contained the announcement, lol... the November start date...

I love the new promo so much. It's so simple yet so effective at highlighting the essence of Big Brother. Also watching Mel Tracina play around in the control room and hitting buttons feels so on brand for her. I am pumped.

I agree. It delivers the message that the show is back and effectively uses nostalgia to showcase what we can expect from this revival. In terms of whether it’s recycled from the original announcement I’m really not bothered. It was perfect then and I see no reason they need to mess with it.
100% agree another great ad, the marking team are doing a bloody awesome job. The more I see of Mel the more I like her and love the remix of the theme, but I can't stand the Big Brother voice, the more I hear it the more I get nightmares back to 7's version
