BBAU 2025: Casting open, return to Dreamworld Confirmed

Does anyone over 30 use Tiktok though? Miss half their audience.
Tiktok has much stronger conversion than Instagram does, you’re more likely to get people watching the show through BVOD which will only increase BB’s total tv ratings. You want as much of that younger audience on your side, they’re the ones that have made MAFS as big as it is.

Could mean nothing, but Mike Goldman added the BB applications post to his story. I really do hope he comes back.
He’s always had pretty positive engagement with the show even when he hasn’t been involved with it. I’ve heard former housemates sing his praise when it comes to keeping an open door with all of them

TikTok will be great for Aus BB. I feel like I practically watched the last two UK seasons based on their TikTok page alone

This is what happens when you invest in the format and do it with the fans in mind.

I’m lagging a bit behind atm as I’ve been exhausted lately but otherwise I haven’t been as invested in BBUS as I have in the last two season in a VERY long time.

Another perfect example of my thesis that if you build a series around the fans that will watch regardless the rest WILL fall in to place.

oh fk, thanks for posting that. i totally didnt know BBUSA had returned.
time to catch up, i hope its a decent season

Ch10 should see the November show as a testing ground.
See what works, what doesnt and what we here on this forum want.
Then at the finale announce a Full 12 week week series in April 2026
I honestly think it boils down to the fact that 10 getting the rights back to BB was a very last minute move before their network upfront last year and they already had a full slate of programming ready to present. There wasn’t much room for the show to begin with and a 4 week run was the only feasible way to air the show in 2025.

Expect one of their shows to be shelved for 2026 to make room for a proper 8-10 week run

I’m still choosing to believe the holdback is cause for this. Makes sense as to why survivor aired over 9 weeks instead of 8 like 2024 and why MasterChef has been bloated to 16 weeks.

It wouldn’t make sense at all to drive all of this attention to the 2000s seasons and then spit out extremely short seasons thereafter. They’d just be asking for instant backlash.

Ideally MasterChef just gets ridiculously shortened or moves to Q3 so BB can claim back Q2. Get rid of celeb amazing race while they’re at it as well.

I have no doubt it would have been a full season, quite likely ending on the same end date, were it not for the holdback. I think 10 gambled and lost, and you could see that by them stopping in their tracks when Seven took exception.
