I respectfully disagree. I think he has been a bit ballsy in who he puts up for evictions. I also think he has played some good moves and aligned himself quite well considering he came late to the game so imagine had he been there from the beginning

I didn’t mean he would do nothing - just that the viewers back then often rewarded straight guys of a certain age for just being there.

I disagree, if it ended up being all (or most) of the OGs in the final part of the game, I expect the public would have been far more invested...

By reinforcing the "popularity contest" angle for the sake of gameplay? No thanks. That would be a snorefest.

It might have been fun to see the OGs have to eat each other though. I wouldn’t be watching this season at all (like the last 2 channel 7 seasons) if they hadn’t been there.

Yep, I think the ratings would not have dropped off so much towards the end instead of building in the lead up to the finale as most reality show ratings tend to do.
