Nah we didn't really even get 'proper' summer last/this year cause of La Nina, there were only a handful of days it Cracked over about 32-35 degrees top in the day where I am in the South west of Sydney IIRC was typically average tops of 28ish in peak summer, no 38-41 degree scorchers that I recall maybe like one or two days creeping towards it.
