Agree.
  • If Brenton became dead man walking, then the chance to end the showmance/power-couple presents itself (which for some reason the HMs seem to perceive as a threat, despite all the other obvious two person friendships and alliances in the house).
  • If Mitch became dead man walking, then the chance to remove a strong challenge competitor who can win challenges and thus control nominations presents itself.
  • If Ari became dead man walking, the chance to get him out presents itself as well, after the peanut butter rumour lies and all the other reasons the housemates want him out.
Whether she actually thought of it all like that, who really knows.

I'm going to give her the benefit of thinking it through.

It's a good compromise without putting an alliance offside. Putting up Jess, Marley and Mitch is the kind of play you need to do when you definitely can't control the voters. It was a compromise nomination no one can really complain about.

Although it was close with the voting.

...evenin’ all... are we all prepared for ”THE GREATEST LOVE STORY IN THE HISTORY OF BIG BROTHER!... part 3”?... I know that I am... I... I... I’ve been awake all night thinking about how sad it is that nasty Big Brother has separated them and kept their love apart!... how can their love possibly survive?... I’m flummoxed!... I cannot sleep... I’ve been worried sick all day... I can’t eat... I’m a total wreck!... I do hope that their love for each other will find a way... cheers.
 
I finally managed to finish this episode. It’s been a long week and to be honest Celebrity Apprentice won out on competing for our attention. Tolerable episode length. Not survivor in a house Seeing people be actual jerks, not fed lines and given boxing gloves to make “good footage representative of their fight back into the game”.

It’s hard to keep up with these movie-length episodes. Hopefully Sunday we will catchup.
Anyway, the whole theme of the show is now all about getting rid of challenge threats. How mundane has BB gotten!
