Just thought I'd post a thread on the ratings (five capital city overnight figures) so everyone can see how Seven is faring with Endemol's new format. Seven has coded the show into two parts: the main portion and the eviction bit, because networks are desperate for any tactic that makes their numbers look bigger. I will ignore the fact that the launch was actually coded into three parts and overlook the "arrivals" part.
Monday: 866,000 (ok Arrivals was 853,000 but I'm not going to put it on my graph).
Eviction: 930,000
Tuesday: 817,000
Eviction: 842,000
Wednesday: 748,000
Eviction: 805,000
As you can see it dropped away significantly from its launch as was to be expected. Will be interesting to see how it goes from Sunday.
