Maybe so...

It has become completely apparent that 9 has no concern with the fans of BBAU. We can complain all day and it has no effect on them!!!

As much as they care, BBAU is just another hole filler, otherwise they would have expressed some sympathy for our cries for some answer to

When the F__K is BBAU going to start this year , if at all??

Any chance at all if Nine are so late with it they'll run it through Christmas and New Year? I know historically Aussie TV shuts up shop for December and January, but could their be some exec at Nine who's decided it might be worth putting something out over the summer non-ratings period. After all Big Brother got it's break in both the US and UK as a summer show airing at a less competitive time.
I know it's New Zealand and not it's country of origin, but BBAU 2013 ran throughout the Christmas/New Year period here in NZ and it got a lot of traction as it really had nothing to go up against. However, the time slot of 4:30pm was a bit stink. :dead:

But I do remember when I was looking at applying as a New Zealand citizen you had to have the documents to be able to stay in Australia legally until Jan 1, 2015 so maybe not?

Guess they wouldn't have known what Nine was up to with scheduling when they opened up applications though.

I wonder if they've hit a snag with the house build and everything's on hold until it gets sorted?

From TV Tonight, I know BB is not mentioned.

Networks are strategically treading water with some of their scheduling, holding off launching new shows while juggernauts are closing in on their finales.
Nine resorted to three Big Bang repeats from 7:30 – 9pm last night, presumably waiting until House Rules is over before The Block returns. Next week Seven has some lightweight factuals to fill the gaps before X Factor launches, no doubt avoiding head to head tussles with The Voice.

I'm guessing Channel 9 might be waiting to like the middle or end of X Factor so there's little competition like last year. I believe that Big Brother lost a fair few of its audience due to X Factor competing with Big Brother last year.

I'm keen on watching both of those shows...they both have public voting, so I think that would also affect the amount of income generated as well?

But I need to know now!

It's starting soon.

Just be patient.
Can't be any later than early August, can it?

I'm all for starting the show much later than usual if it means the producers won't drag this show out for 90+ days. Around 80 days is perfect as far as I'm concerned.

You know that was tongue in cheek right? Despite the fact he's got the tick of approval from Tim, Goon is known to be wrog on too many occassions to be trusted. :p

And then the impossible happens and the producers find a perfect set of housemates that we don't ever want to see go. Then 120+ days is still not enough. This is a loosing battle people...

I don't care how wonderful the housemates turn out be (honestly I don't think that has ever happened), I have my limits and keeping the show within 3 months is more than enough for me.

That's why you haven't received a PM with the starting date like others in this post have been. Cause Id hate to tell you the truth for once, so you can wait like everyone else has to do.

Have you noticed some members arnt posting asking when its starting. That's cause they know the date. They are just waiting patiently.

I am over posting in this thread. I am actually leaving the Country very soon and will be back early August.

Have fun everyone.
