Australian Survivor: Articles

Sue interview: be aware it might have spoilers. She maybe gives some stuff away but she could be misleading people?
They did say "at this point" - so you never know, in the next episode or two they could turn the tables and then at that point it could be possible for one of them to win.

Am I clutching at straws? Not that I want any of those idiot men to win. But just pointing out the semantics.

Yeah, I'm wondering if channel Ten would allow any of them to talk openly, or if all these interviews are carefully vetted. Matt's comments on social media would seem to indicate
he doesn't win or come anywhere close (not that anyone expects him to),
but who knows.

Yeah I don't know what happens but people who hate any spoilers might find stuff they would rather not know.

I was annoyed at Ten's spoilery promos mostly. The way it's playing out does seem kinda predictable. Just hoping that the Final 2 doesn't consist of two of the mean girls.

They will have to turn on each other at some point. No way people who are that cut throat will take each other to the end. They are using each other to maintain control now. I can see Brooke as a winner or a losing finalist.

Also, I thought there were some other spoilers things in the article, but maybe not!

Re tactics, and guessing what happens next....
My guess, JL will get in Flick's ear, and claim the final 4 are the couples, ie Lee & El, Brooke & Sam.

Then, the couples get wind of her paranoia, and lee uses his advantage next tribal, or eventually, and Flick is flicked out.

I had forgotten all about Lee's secret advantage

Better for Lee to use his advantage before final 5... he should use it as part of a blindside ASAP really. Once he's in final 5 best he can do is force a 2-2 draw. Final 6 TC would probably be the best opportunity to use it to full advantage. With two cohorts he can turn a 3-3 vote into a 3-2 vote.

I think he is required to use it before the Final 5 anyway - wasn't that on the advantage that he read out?

Lee isn't making final 5. He is too close to El for the mastermind girls (Brooke and Flick) to accept. I think they could cut him at 7.
Lee having an advantage is another reason for them to get him out.

Plus of all the guys he is best at challenges- they may actually have some challenges that don't favor girls at some point. But I think Lee, Matt and Sam feel safe so I'm not sure how much they would fight for it?

My guess is that JL is next if she isn't immune and then Lee goes.

I hope I'm wrong. He could use it next week if they split the votes again and make something happen. But I'm not sure he has the will to do it. (Knowing him, he could use it to cancel JLs vote instead of moving himself forward.)

I could be wrong, but after Nick jumped to the conclusion that Lee's advantage was the same as the HII clue he got, Lee played along with that, so everyone else may well believe that Lee doesn't have an advantage. I don't think we have seen him divulge the actual advantage to anyone, have we?

EDIT: and yes, he is an idiot, he will probably use it foolishly. But I live in hope he can break up the threesome with it.

So, thinking about the above, if Lee really hasn't confided to anyone about the advantage, then maybe there exists the actual possibility he can make a fucking strategic move. Is that a crazy thought? Or am I drunk?

yes, but that is so not the point.

Knowing the way Lee plays, he's probably decided that any kind of advantage is a "massive target on his back", and he won't use it at all. If that happens, the producers will regret casting someone so safe (boring).

You could be right but please don't jinx my tiny glimmer of hope.

If they think he has an idol clue, shouldn't he be pretending to look for it?
I mean finding an idol is a big deal on survivor. You could always say you want a souvenir to take home to your kids.
