So I went back to my RPi box to watch tonight because my flash new box was a bit unreliable... but this one uses the TENplay stream with no ads and a "your live stream will be back after the ad break" whereas the new one uses a Melbourne TV stream complete with ads... so maybe that's why it was crashing.
