Some of the best models in the world have some of the worst walks.

Models don't get paid a lot of money. It's an incredibly tough industry, don't expect to be earning thousands unless your some amazing prodigy or have good links within the industry.
 
Models are not all 'typically' beautiful, they have certain features that make them stand out. Don't really want to point it out, but Jade;s mole probably really works for her when it comes to modelling.

This is true but she could still easily do editorials and Kate Moss is only 5 foot 6 and look at her, she is one of the most famous models in the world.
I agree that's Jade's breasts are a bit too large for high fashion modelling there are plenty of Victorias Secret models who also model for high fashion so anything is possible really.
P.S her boobs are real

And Tahan will never make it big in terms of modelling. She can stick to her 'classy' zoo shoots.
 
Jade fans on this site are so hypocritical. They go around making nasty comments about Ed, Tahan and other housemates on this forum. Yet they cry and bitch when people do they same to Jade.

5'6" is an exception than the norm.

Victorias Secret models are between 5'8" to 6'0" and of course they model for high fashion zzz. Their models have name recognition.

No offence, but it sounds like an ugly industry sometimes. I can't imagine what these girls through just to try and get somewhere in this industry.

Didn't Jade say she was the only one out of her model friends who hasn't slept with anyone to get a job? Not sure if that was exactly what she said. It was when Jasmine's goodbye video upset her and she was crying to Drew. Can't imagine why you'd wanna go through all that when your career is pretty much over at 25.

edit: modelling can be great, but only when you're very successful and have a good attitude about it I reckon.

If you make it then good for you, but the work is actually getting there it seems and making it last.

Exactly! The industry is tough and it can definitely be dirty and that's why I have so much respect for models because I am constantly annoyed at the stereotype and generalisation that models have it 'easy'. As the saying goes, 'no pain, no gain'.
Your completely right because girls go to many extremes to make it in the industry, from starving themselves to leaving their family (usually quite poor) at such a young age (16 or so) to help earn money. You wouldn't believe some of the stories I've read from models coming from rags to riches. It truly does restore my hope in this world.
Hope I've shined some light on some people. :cool:

I made the VS comment in response to the large breasts. Many of them have large breasts for the industry when usually an A cup is only acceptable.
And who knows Jade may be an exception....
BTW but ik of a lot of models who started from high fashion and then transferred to VS, so some have to establish themselves first before they can do anything major.

I've never complained about anybody bitching about anybody else because IK for a fact I do a fair bit myself but I don't point it out. If I see someone make a negative comment about Jade I won't complain but rather argue that point and defend Jade. That's COMPLETELY different.

I kind of feel sad for these girls because they are so young and willing. I'll tell you what though, if I have a daughter one day, there is no way I want her in this industry

Because there is this common misconception that being a model is all about the glamour and the clothes. Like as soon as you become one guys will be throwing themselves at you. That's not true and is only half the job, young girls are too naive these days and don't understand the hard work ethic that these models undergo to look their best and work their best. They have tight schedules that are busy busy busy.
It's certainly quite sad because many of these girls are indeed desperate and I'm definitely sure there are some agencies who do take advantage of them, especially if they aren't very educated or don't have sufficient English speaking skills. But being a model can also be a rewarding career that is definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity, if I got offered to be a model I would take it because how many get that opportunity? They also get to help their families back home so it is a job they can do.
