Weirdly enough there seems to more dynasties now. Brisbane, Geelong, Hawthorn, and now Richmond have won multiple premierships. Players sticking together as much as they can for that taste of success.

True. It also boils down to culture in retaining players and asking them to accept less pay for the sake of the team due to the cap. These days you really have to build a culture of "togetherness"
 
And thanks to Collingwood. For paying a third of Treloars salary for the next 5 years.
