I agree. Every time they've done this they've had pretty much the same emotional reaction from the housemate whose family member was involved, and yet they keep on doing it. How the fuck is it entertaining to purposely upset someone for the sake of a fucking stupid task?
In the Channel 10 days all they had to do was complete a secret challenge or carry out a prank without being discovered. The producers get the entertaining footage they want and the housemate gets to watch their video from home in its entirety. What happened to that?

Oh, I agree more than you know! It's a forced emotional response rather than just letting them be for one, and two it reminds them there is an outside world so snaps them out of that mindset that this is only temporary. Not only that but after what happened with Josh in 2012 where his brother died, I don't like this sort of thing even more. God forbid anything happens and it is a little morbid I know, but if you are going to record family members then let them see it, don't use it to tease them with and use for entertainment value.
