A Storm Is Coming (Big Brother 2014 Promo #1)

Does anyone know when or care to speculate on what the next promo will feature? Looking back at the past ch9 first BB promos, they usually suck compared to the future ones. So seeing this years first one was so good, I'm expecting the next one to be astonishing! :woot:

A storm is coming and Sonia Kruger's got the latest on the conditions ahead:

"This is without a doubt going to be the most exciting series we've ever seen. From night one, Housemates will have to make immediate judgments which will have far reaching consequences into their Big Brother experience.

In this day and age, with the prevalence of social media, people are forced to make snap judgments on other people based on tiny bits of information. Our Housemates are going to have to make quick decisions based on first impressions.

I also hear our 2014 Housemates are the most opinionated and most controversial ever, and buttons will be pushed."

We can't wait to see for ourselves when Big Brother Australia returns Monday September 8 on Channel 9!

That kind of reminds me of 2008 when the HM had to (fake)evict someone on the first night, this will hopefully be different.

The snap judgments... it kinda sounds like they'll be doing something similar to BBUK's Power Housemate, having to make decisions about the HM's on the first night (i.e. Pauline watching the VT's and deciding to put Matthew in a box overnight, give Mark $5000 and send Helen to the Finale). Also a bit like BB08 where they had to choose to "evict" someone based on first impressions.

Ugh.

WHY are they releasing this information when the housemates AREN'T in lockdown???!!! Part of the fun is the reactions to sudden and unexpected situations.
 
Intriguing. I also am thinking a long the lines of pairing up based on first impressions. Could be a very interesting concept if done properly..... and not done like the halfway house.

They could be playing one thing until the housemates go into lockdown then check change tune.

Doubt it though, they're probably messing thing up as usual haha

That's what I thought maybe it will be something like that but if they do the pass to the final I'm not gonna bother that was just a crock of shit
 
"Most controversial and opinionated", every year we hear this kind of crap. Sure they may have been in auditions, I'll believe it when I see it.
 
Sounds like 2014 BBUK.. "the power"
First night in and one housemate was given a pass to the final and another was given $5000 while a 3rd was isolated in a box elevated in the air for the first 24 hours.. All that power was given with out any judgement or knowledge of the people they would be living with..

Hmm sounds very familiar to me

I do have to give Mikkayla a little credit here - she certainly was opinionated. I am very worried they have tried to find another Tully to meet the "controversial" brief

It's hilarious how obviously photoshopped this is.
- You can easily make out Sonia's leg on the left, which is significantly larger than the one on the right that is clearly shown.
- From what we can see of the "leg" on the right, there is no way it can logically connect to the curve on her body that is above that piece of cloth that is flapping in the breeze. That curve is legit as you can see how tight fitted it is.
- Her entire mid-section is at a weird angle that doesn't match up at all with her head or legs and the way she's standing.

I totally am thinking it sounds like a UK style twist is on the way which I'm totally for except pass to the final am I the only one that thinks that screwed the gme somewhat
