A Storm Is Coming (Big Brother 2014 Promo #1)

Oh I WISH ;)
I think Helen from the UK Series should come to the Australian version.. I can just imagine the drama :D

I would love to see an AU version of BOTS. We are missing that discussion of the show like we used to get on uplate or uncut. I would be OK with Tim being involved in that - I think his insights would be interesting.

theres two things missing though...
sonias wearing a white dress and different bracelets to the green screen pics released earlier
no lightning out of her hands or the BB eye

the next promos are gonna be awesome :D

Keen! Good job BB... pretty upset that my exams are on the same day as launch night/week but there's always time for some Big Brother!

The new season of Big Brother Australia is set to be the best yet as Channel Nine airs a cryptic and suspense-filled first promo of host Sonia Kruger aboard Noah's Arc.

Playing Noah, the scene opens with the 48-year-old personality orchestrating a cyclone-like storm.

Wearing a billowing Grecian dress with black leather girdle, Sonia oversees contestants that appear to be couples clamor onto the arc.

As the housemates went in two-by-two, the famous mono-toned voice bellowed from the clouds: 'This is Big Brother, a new breed of housemates has been chosen.'

Teasing fans, the blonde beauty got even more cryptic: 'A storm is brewing... on the inside'.

With that, a blonde 'housemate' in belly-baring gym gear hissed as a snakes tongue slipped out from between her pursed lips.

As the storm brews they all rush to jump on the wooden boat before a familiar face locks them on board.

Last year's winner Tim Dormer makes an appearance in his skeleton onesie, the same outfit that became his trademark look for elimination nights.

Each of the pairs boarding the biblical vessel fit Australia's everyday stereotypes; medics, professionals, hipsters, fitness fanatics, country folk, goths - the list goes on.

Set to air in September, more teasers will be aired up until the mystery number of housemates enter the Big Brother compound.

In a series of behind the scenes shots,it looks to have taken an army tocreate the epic promo.

In some, the couples marched along a rickety old-style bridge toward to the arc, while Sonia worked with a wind machine in front of a green screen.

Thanks for that Veronica!!
It's interesting to see the lady wearing the pink because people said in the commercial that she was wearing an orange prison gear xD

Is this where we speculate or just random discussion???

Anyway, so two by two and Noahs ark.

Maybe they just liked the recent film. Which was quite good. Going with that theme, they are couples going in??? But if this was they case we'd know from the audition process.

Maybe they are matching people, two similar people? Eh....

A different kind of housemate??

I assume this will be how they play the game.

So my theory is that people get assigned someone who is their strategic partner. It can't be revealed. They can work together to get people out. Or one can work to get the other out if they think they are a threat. Maybe it'll be something known or they are just the ones with such an alliance. If they reveal alliance they go up for nomination.

Some variation of this.

Sounds likely to me.

I remember being in 'country' WA for most of BB06 - a midnight timeslot was killing me.

I feel your pain. :(

Great to know that someone else can and has felt that pain!!! I did 1/2 of 2006 in the City and the other 1/2 in regional. Wasn't too bad at the time, as my working hours made good for midnight - HOWEVER, as years went by it became a bit too late and long in the tooth. Still no promo on WIN WA. Maybe it is not their demographic???
