2014 Schedule Changes

Well I'm disappointed there is no Sunday night show. I've skipped a few eps and kinda like to watch those Sunday night shows. Gotham is a good show if you like cop dramas. It's not out of this world, but meh. I've watched it via..... other means.

Just checked the Foxtel Guide, there is no Big Brother next Sunday either with the movie 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' airing instead.

WHAT? Ugh. I can tolerate them putting it off for 1 week and 1 week only but to axe the Sunday show halfway through the series is lame. Channel Nine already have movies on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday nights. MOVIES DON'T EVEN RATE ON FTA TV.

And I must say thank you for all the schedule news @sav0001 you have been giving us this season and past seasons! :) You keep us up to date.

So now there's no DS on Saturdays or Sundays, and only a half hour, halfhearted effort on Fridays. Oh yeah, and still no Live Feed.
[Maybe The Block finale is today's reason but still..] To my mind there's some pretty dispensable weekend daytime content on Gem and Go!, and I'm sure Appliances Online would appreciate having even some Saturday/Sunday arvo time on Gem than nothing, esp. when they're giving out $5000-$10000 vouchers per week.

Well im leaving Foxtel IQ to know when the hell its on. Thankfully

That's a shame to lose the Sunday show for the weekend content, but at least most of the evictions are on Tuesday this year, not Monday. Are there many more evictions or live shows planned for the Monday shows?

The earlier timeslot doesn't make a lot of difference when we're getting a PG show anyway.

@KurlyKatieK Nope, not on next Sunday either. There was a TBA slot at 6:30 but that has been filled with a factual programme. Then 60 Minutes, followed by Gotham, and then a movie. No BB.

Serious ? What are their reasons for that.. Do they not have a budget for editing these shows or something?

There's an ad Ch 9's been playing with a lot of BB featured throughout it

"Nine's most exciting week"

advertising what's taking over for The Block

"Monday 7:30 - a special one hour BBT
Tuesday 7:30 - BB's fake double eviction live
Wednesday 7:30 - David Attenborough Life
Thursday 7:30 - real life emergency drama King's Cross ER

and next Sunday 6:30 the Australian premiere The Embassy

TVs best new shows

Get excited for the biggest blockbuster week on 9"

it's ALL about filling The Block's slot... hence the stunts, the new shows premiering, etc

If the show had the courage to include real conversations that happen in the House; Housemates discussing how they think and feel about actual issues, they wouldn't need to rely so much on semi-produced storylines.

None of those shows interest me in the slightest apart from Big Brother. And even that interest is low.

Nine have the worst contrived shows around. Did you see that ad for the David Attenborough show with the "Lion King" song in it with slow motion of the animals in the wild? How cliché! I roll my eyes every time its on! They also have this "exclusive" show coming called "The Embassy". They are hyping it up to be one of the best new shows on TV. In reality it is just a "Border Security" type show following the Australian embassy in Thailand. BORING!!!!!!!!!!! The Nine Network is just trying to appeal to the lowest common denominator! Even I am more intelligent than Channel Nine's programming :geek:.

Channel 9 are a disgrace and as much as I love Big Brother, I hope the show is canned next season to teach these twats a lesson. Ideally another channel will pick it back up, let it play out as it should be with live feeds and what not, we'll all be happy and 9 will be ruing the fact they didn't treat/run this show with the respect it deserves.

Yeah I'm not interested in any of those shows either although I'll probably turn BBT on just so I don't miss the start of BB. Sad thing is I used to love the David Attenborough series' until FTA got their dirty mitts on them. Now their stupid ads have killed it for me.

aww i am disappointed no BB tonight but I guess they don't have enough stories....... :alien:
It shouldn't be about "stories". We should be seeing their regular everyday interactions. It doesn't have to be DRAMA for 100% of the daily shows.

FFS BIG BROTHER!!! WE KNOW YOU READ THESE FORUMS!!! JUST SHOW US THE HM'S NATURALLY!!!!!

I wish! I have gone bored with waiting for this years Big Brother to wake up..

Really, the q I'd just like somebody to ask anyone of the BB production ppl just this one question : the web feeds, do they ever plan to bring them back ? Regular diary updates on the websites ? Why? If anyone knows anyone & can get the question off to them it'd be much appreciated!

So, no big brother tonight, I looked around online and discovered something else entertaining on youtube.. For game of thrones fans in particular, enjoy this comic-con 2014 interview with some of the cast of Game of Thrones (I know there are GOT fans on here, GOT fans can also be BB fans, yes!)..
