2014 House...

So they moved the location of the house? or they are building the house under the old house? or we will just be getting a very very old run down version of last years house.

The pool never 'moves'. They just cover it up (for potential future use) and either reveal another previously hidden pool or just add another one. The 2012-2013 pool is the 2003-2004 pool with the shallow bits added to the sides to form the triangle shape.

OK well if they cover up the 2012-2013 pool and uncover an older one, the only other position that I can think of the pool being in was on the left side of the backyard (the 2005-2007 pool). I can't remember where the pool was in the first 2 seasons was located.

Yes I understand that. I was just wondering whether they will uncover another area of the backyard where they have the pool or change the design where the current pool is.

Any chance you could give us a hint of what's going on? Not asking for pictures, just wondering how much the house has been changed already?

Like I said earlier I think it could be that they're not going to do anything with the house which means they have a bigger budget, or they're moving :P Haha

I already saw that hint. I was asking if anything more could be divulged than that.

Also, the hint he gave pretty much rules out your first theory, as he implies there is something that has been done.

Plus, the BB website still lists Dreamworld as "the home of Big Brother", and there's yet to be a presser from Dreamworld saying otherwise (one could assume that it would take more than two months to completely construct a new compound, and Dreamworld would've released something by now if they knew (which they would).

Something must be going on, and Goon is our inside man, so I'm interested to hear if he can release anything at all about what works are going on. About 12 months ago the BB facebook uploaded some photos of the shell of the house, so maybe it's just a case where they've destroyed (or have nearly finished destroying) the interior but they're yet to move on to the backyard?
 
Eh -_- I hope they don't do the old.. let's post a FB cover photo that's divided up into puzzles pieces and only reveal a piece each day until launch

This is good enough news for me.

I still question why the roofing was removed on the Showdown arena - that leaves it open to the elements and wear and tear. Even if they were refurbishing it you'd think it'd remain covered rather than expending money/resources re-covering it later on. Response to Showdown was pretty good, so I stick by my theory (and I suppose wish, as well) that they're extending the arena to provide more games space like they had in the older seasons (higher budget could mean more money is put into Showdown?

Or maybe they've got other plans for that area and we're going back to the backyard competition like there was in 2012. Or maybe they're scrapping the games aspect entirely.

I read the showdown roof was rented and they had to take it back
