BBAU YouTube now uploading Channel 7 seasons

In a surprise turn of events, looks like they have acquired distribution rights for at least the Seven series.

Wonder if Nine’s seasons are in the pipeline, too.
 
Looks like they also cut the credits out of these episodes too, except for the last one where it still says, "Produced for Seven Network".
 
I would've preferred they left this in the past 🤣 At least give us CBB first, or the 9 era as that was true to the OG. What the hell is the execution plan they have going here? It makes zero sense 😭 I'm sure there are contractual rights regarding both 9 and CBB still, but I just don't get why they'd upload the 7 era season out of the blue.
 
I'm surprised they are even bothering with the Seven era. I would have thought that era would have been dead and buried.

This now makes me think, eventually we will get ALMOST everything from before current 2025-now era.

The only exception being any late night episodes because of YouTube restrictions (Uncut, Uplate, Adults Only, etc)
Hopefully for completeness, they at least give us a secondary link elsewhere for master quality versions of these episodes.

Also finish 2004 individual episode uploads for goodness sake. Should be finishing this task before working on uploads of any other season I reckon.
 
Well I guess that puts to bed the unsolved mystery of will they or won't they acknowledge the existence of the Ch7 BB era *shudder*...

but... why????
 
I don’t think it’s a coincidence they chose to upload this specific season (it’s not the first nor the last Seven series, but it is celebrating the show’s “21st birthday” with ex HMs) on the actual 25th “birthday” of the series.

There’s certainly something in that.

ITA, if it's just Season 14 though at this point and not starting from Season 12, they may have just gone for that one first as its the All Stars Vs Newbies season they can promote to the BBAUcasuals from the stream marathons as 'Remember Reggie, Farmer Dave, Trevor? Did you know they came back in 2022?' kinda angle.
