Basically 2025 programmers I reckon lol.

Hopefully 2026 has a much longer intro, say the size of OG 10 era. (I would even take Channel 9 era size as that I think was still longer than what 2025 offered)

They’re different production companies, I wouldn’t think it would be that easy to withdraw funding from one stakeholder and then inject it into a competing stakeholder.

I imagine this eleventh hour backflip is to allow for a longer BB run for 2026 if they insist on scheduling it for Q4
 
Do we think there will actually be another season? I’m not sure how it went ratings wise but very curious if they will do another one

Typically when a network acquires the rights they’re contractually obligated to produce a minimum amount, usually 3 seasons. I’m sure there’s a way to get out of it but I expect there will be another later this year and It’ll be shorter run Temu version again.

I would hope, at a minimum, that this year would see a slightly bigger budget, a longer run (even by 2-3 weeks) and a more experienced crew, alongside last year's, to keep them from interfering as much as they did last year... just allow it to flow organically.

Also, for the love of fuck, don't cast ANYONE like Colin ever again.

Quite disappointing that BB isn’t being positioned as a marquee reality show these days but rather just a pump and dump to temporarily boost ratings for a year or two. It’s exactly what Nine and 7 did with it and while ITV say they’re in it for the long run it’s clear whatever they’re getting out of BB is just a year end bonus.
