She's the only one who seems like a decent human being.

Agree. Emily seems to be the only decent person in a house full of people who are ...

- sleep through life as it passes them by types,
- over-opinionated alpha types,
- vile immature farting types,
- young but apparently with full life-experience types,
- lying stealing "change my story when it suits to get some sympathy" types.

Colin winning would not be surprising.

Alanna and Emily will split voters.
Bruce and Coco will split voters.

Colin is in the best position.

Whilst I do not want Colin to win ... I fear that you may be right, the others will split the votes and we'll end up with Colin.

So, I can't find the post that prompted me to do this, but I collated a table of the OG Ten and Nine eras' first housemate interviewed on launch night and their results.
SeasonFirst HousemateResult
1Christina4th / 14
2Aaron13th / 15
3Ben11th / 16
4Wesley8th / 16
5Constance19th (DQ) / 20
6Michael17th / 23
7Hayley20th / 24
8Terri1st / 20
9Michael4th / 16
10Mikkayla8th / 20
11Priya4th / 22
Out of that table, the only one that shows obvious producer manipulation is Terri, being put back in after she was evicted in the first snap eviction. Constance was disqualified for lying about being single to gain a place on the show, then bragging about it once she got in.

But now with Colin, we're not being shown his full personality, especially when he drinks. People who watch casually see this golden boy, but that's not the full Colin.

Interesting list. Outside of the first two people, from 03 onwards first in is usually a big polarising type personality that production often likes more than the public does.

Does anyone think Colin might be on the spectrum? (coming from someone with ASD)
Im on it too but I dont think he is. I honestly think he just has a low intelligence capabilty/quotient plus ADHD, which he says he does have and was given medicine for which he never took for a long time (unsure if he does now). He just acts as someone that cant control their attention plus cant think properly

Are production giving Mel ropeburns to ensure she cracks a fart "joke" or reference every single live? How does she sleep at night?

It was odd how confident Conor was that he would win.
What do people mean by that. Was he literally saying to the other housemates that he would win it?

I mean I admire that everyone in the end should WANT to win it, but overly confidence in that is another thing.

He's been quoted as saying he thought the disabled community would all support him.

Prob actually from all the weed he smokes?

I'd rather watch the girl who crashed Holly's eviction onstage than all of Conor's family.
I have a different take: One (small) step closer to involving evictee families in the show?

It's funny, I was thinking earlier in the episode that I kind of missed the friends and family segment. To get that side of them.
I'm not sure whether or not the budget is there to bring each evictee's fam up to the GC, but they could do it with a video link. Or at the minimum there could be a recorded video package at some point while the evictee is still on the eviction stage where that hm's family have a chance to say something to them (with a PIP of the evictee live reacting).

It could be budget, but also it would be down to run time of the episodes. There's barely time for interviews or clips.
