I thought it was a double on the weekend and then finale.

Well they don't want interesting content from Saturdays or most of Sunday because it's the producers' days off. So one at least had to be today. Still possible a second will get a live send-off on Sunday's show though, as they haven't closed the voting. Nothing would bring me more joy than to see Colin go then.

Why do they even bother with a live stream then?

I think it's ridiculous that they try to hide this as a secret when it becomes apparent what has happened. The live stream is unedited, unfiltered, not zoomed in, doesn't change camera view, so it's not much of a replacement for the show itself. There's literally no good reason why they do that.

If they want to hide the actual part where they read out the letter, fine. But the aftermath - just let it play. ffs.

Or he's an idea - do it live! It doesn't even have to be a full live show with an audience and everything, could do it at the end of the daily show. Cut to Mel in the control room, she says BB has a surprise for the HM's, we watch it unfold for 5 or so mins and then as the show ends they can direct us to the live stream to keep watching.

I think they all would. Imagine being only 1/4 of a way through a full length season and all of the drama that’s already happened.

Makes me wonder what the dynamics would have been like if Mia or even Michael were still in.
