Episode Day 26 Daily Show - 4/12/2025

But that's just straight out insulting. And is not giving a lot of hope that next year will be any different.
It’s just one massive typo. 2001 was the ultimate experiment as the show tried to find its feet. This season is absolutely nothing like 2001 and isn’t even comparable. We never wanted 2001 2.0. We wanted a more true to form return of the overall format Ten used back then. Changes were obviously going to be made. But as you said, that quote is insulting. Even something as simple as isolation and nominations talk, which was paramount in 2001, is being ignored this year.

These people have no idea about who is popular. Like Ed thinking he's up against the most popular housemates and that's who he has to beat...does he not think about how likable Emily is?
They've written her off because a) she does not have a moustache and b) she is not one of the cool kids who was invited to the cool kids' parties, aka isn't part of the farting crew or the stupid underwear boys.

Struggling to remain interested now
really only sticking with it as there's only a few days left
Same with me. I dont actually care about these people, but ive come this far and its nearly the end. There is no social experiment aspect to this season, this is just a tv production with drama and forced story lines. Eds banter with everyone, espcially Emily and Alana is the main reason I get the little joy left.

The producers don’t care about the psychological exploration or the social experiment aspect of the show - we know that. They cut out every negative thing about half the housemates, they almost never show small, raw conversations between housemates.

It's just stupid jokes, pranks, and making the HMs do meaningless tasks that are honestly a waste of time to watch and I consider straight up filler. You might as well go on Youtube and watch influencers do random challenges in front of a camera because that is what BB feels like (with the diary room eating challenge as an example).

It's just very clear production has no clue on what makes Big Brother unique or why viewers love the concept.

Well I finally was able to watch the episode. After having read the the thread I thought it would be far more boring, but I found there to be actual genuine conversations and I felt invested. It was more interesting than the typical Wednesday night episode thus far in my opinion. More conversations.

However more of that relationship with Coco & Bruce. I really dislike these people but just tolerating them. I’m here for the drama ok.

The funny thing is that Conor was saying that everyone in the house is assuming that Colin and Coco are the favourites. I liked the way that Emma responded “assuming, assuming, we are all assuming” (paraphrased). 😂 You are right Emma and just for that you deserve to win. And for rescuing the dragonfly.

Allana repeated that a bit later as well that Colin is the favourite. Wtf do these people think Australia wants a guy that farts on people without excusing himself, that says “bro” in every fucking sentence is somehow the favorite to win $100k? Are these people that dumb or is that a strategy to divert attention from themselves, I suspect it is the former though… 🤔

Legit living with Coco would be hectic, even if you are in her personality class or whatever. She is a whirlwind. I personally don’t really see her and Bruce being an item for very long, eventually they would butt heads, but yeah I don’t get Bruce either maybe he likes that in a woman ?

If this season was 12 weeks we would see her breakdown. 3 weeks is a freaking holiday lol.

It does seem to be working. I think the general public loves Colin and his antics. They've got morons shouting out his name from rides.

It bothers me that they are so thrilled with themselves for casting him. Maybe it's all just rage bait...

Don't expect much. It'll likely be exactly like BBUK. They open the show, air some Daily Show footage, then just bang out all five evictions almost one after each other until the winner, then the show ends.

Ahh, I see you are describing what should have happened with the first episode of the second week of this season ...

🤣😆😂

Zero self-awareness or accountability. Coco turns feral the moment she receives any feedback.

as per usual, my learned friend @MADONNA has hit the nail absolutely & squarely on the head !!

Kudos....

CoCow is the biggest hypocrite in many a season....in oh so many ways....the feedback never ever ever affects here within the first 16 seconds....simply coz ' it ain't true cobba '.....yet later when our 3kidded devoidly titted outwitted and spat out once pitted A-cup banned from any and every wank bank shelia is oh so solo on her yoko ono, she will sob quietly in response to the truth fkn hurting and being a fight or flight kinda party, she gotta be seen to B somewhat human and hurtin' to coax in the fktards that are usually just idiots, desperately seeking susan, and of course, a village....( population : 1 )

THIS diary room task where you ingest things you hate.....

fk me, where on L.Ron Hubbard's green earth do i begin......

WHO THE FAAAAAARK would divulge to BB or any similar cunt their worst fears or hates ?????

why show your hand >

i can remember the recent audition that was attended by myself, @reepbot and @MADONNA at the height of the pandemic for ( BB20?? - the post apocalyptic years ) and the 3 of us being quizzed re: our "most hated things in life/biggest fears" , and in perfecto unison not too dissimilar from a seasoned barbershop quartet with coyly said:

" delicious male arseholes to rim ''

and despite the obligatory facemasks of that era, it was clear to blind even freddie's gay labrador mutt that we were goin home that night** to secretly pray that we were selected as housemates and that day#1 the first task was in fact Worst Fears/Most Hated ....

I just realised I straight up forgot the show was on last night... Not exactly a great review for production when we should be reaching peak attachment so close to the finale.

You didn't miss much.

If we're gonna get more showmance content next year can we at least get a gay storyline?
IKR, remember how touchy Louis and Lewis were with each other on the train in the opening of the House of Love season and we were like oh Hello? Maybe this is for the gayze... oh wait never mind. LOL And Then AND THEN I just remembered they advertised a gay kiss but it was a joke as part of a task or something LOL
