Episode Day 23 Daily Show and Nominations - 1/12/2025

I honestly don't see anything wrong with that edit.

If he is outright about having some game, good on him. I don't feel it harms, it is respectable.
Yeah, he is playing a game and said he would. Has been caught out and he says he isnt. Obviously that is part of the game too cuz he cant admit it to them as that is silly. I just hope his kindness isnt fake and part of the game as that is why I like him

There's a big difference between playing the game and being called fake though.

He's not fake but playing the game. All of them are playing the game though, so what? What I do know is that he has been way less nasty about it compared to others.

You don't think maybe the boys might nominate Alana and Emily for hiding their items, and maybe Connor for taking the ball?
Noms happened this morning, they only get revealed live. All that stuff happened way after noms

Ed hasn't nominated yet. He will make his nominations live (my guess is face to face otherwise why not prerecord?)

Colin hasn't used his HOH power yet either.

I'm thinking Vinnie would have given Alanna 3-4 points so she would be nominated if another housemate or 2 do the same.

The most liked comment regarding Vinnie on social media says it all in regards to what the majority think

I've said it before and I'll say it again...Vinnie is a textbook people pleaser. He wants to be involved and he craves human connection. I'm not disagreeing that he's playing the game to a degree, but certainly not to the extent that is being projected by others. He's far from engineering outcomes like Conor and Hoggy or playing to audiences like Colon.

Conor is the biggest player in that house and he's weaponising his disability to skate to the finale.

I can't even hazard a guess at who will be up, and do I really care, as long as it isnt Emily or Allanah?
And meanwhile, over to UK TV and Eastenders 😊

I agree. Vinnie isn’t nasty in anyway. And tbh he isn’t even game playing that hard, because tbh I don’t think he actually knows how to.

It might come from age tho, during his mini argument with allana he definitely struggled to verbally defend himself as much as she was.

Not that it’s a bad thing necessarily, but to me he comes across as a bit false. He’s way too aware of the cameras.

I have an inkling that the boys will mostly all nominate them tbh. If this ends up as an all boys ending for the finale, it just shows how far out of touch they have been with the production of this show and the continual promotion of toxic masculinity. It's so gross.

I actually don’t think Vinnie is “playing the game”. If he is, he’s doing a terrible job at it.

What has been perceived by many from the very, very beginning is that Vinnie had an agenda going in. Aside from the obvious being that he is quite literally the definition of the “fame-hungry”, influencer type that they promised would not be on the show this year. He hasn’t hidden that fact at all. He also went in, like Conor, with a bit of a preconceived expectation and ego about how the public will view him. The way he constantly speaks directly to “Australia” is another red flag.

I’m not saying he’s the only current HM who does things like this, there’s a couple, but he does continuously play up for the cameras and has attempted to plot narrative devices centered around him since day dot - but doesn’t own it, which is partly why he’s labelled “fake”. The UWB club, the podcast, feeling left out (and commenting about it) when other HMs get secret challenges, always being the one seen to console others but actively avoiding getting himself directly involved in situations that might harm his chances, talking about how many followers he’s gonna get when evicted. Those are some of many examples observed (predominately on the live stream) and the list goes on. Psychologically, his behaviour says it all. There’s a reason why he completely panicked and spiralled after being called out on it.

Some will see it how they want. I personally prefer not have those types on BBAU. I appreciate some BBAU game players (i.e. Paul, Tim/s, etc). But I don’t appreciate what Vinnie has brought to the series (in fact, he hasn’t really contributed much at all), nor the exposure he confidently expects (and will inevitably still receive) after being on it. He needs the chip off his shoulder knocked off and a reality check.
