Live stream chit chat

Mia’s race thing with Ed yesterday was edited about as charitably as it could have been in the DS tonight, comes off looking a bit overeager and delusional but mostly just bullied, which I guess is true but missing a lot of the context that could explain why the other HMs feel so negatively about her

I wasn't even paying attention to the live stream during that racing shit but caught the intervention. Vinnie and others being like, "Wait, do you actually think you can?" Vinnie asking her something like, "How do you think I knew you couldn't?" I actually think that'd have been a better edit for Mia. It would have concluded the story arc.

From a reddit post early this morning:

“The A team has clocked off. I'm wired from a long week, I'm at the end of my rope with this nightmare of a job and want to get some shit off my chest so I can enjoy my rest day tomorrow. So here, have some BTS tea, brain dump incoming.

There's a lot of tension behind the scenes. The metrics are amazing, but network hates the production quality, production is working with no budget, the crew is lean and lacks experience. We're making what changes we can but we're working with no support and no resources. We know that the live segments are a big issue but the crew we have can't solve that.

A certain person in charge of editorial direction is ramming the Love Island format down your throats because that's their personal taste level (and experience). Everybody else hates it. There have been heated conversations about it. It is not Big Brother. And it's not even authentic. Holly has zero interest in Colin, she's just being encouraged to play it up.

Holly is a plague on this production. She threatened to walk in week one and there's a good reason she ultimately didn't. Keen observers of the live feed might have noticed that she goes to the diary room a lot more than anyone else and that's no coincidence. I can't say what (not everyone on crew knows the details, I can't dox myself), but she's being given a lot of privileges that you won't ever see on air. The extent of it is actually really bad.

I saw some speculation that Michael didn't choose Holly for Head House. He did, but it was suggested to him by production and he loved the chaos of it. They were prepared to incentivise him but didn't need to in the end.

The "allegations" around Colin were known by production before he went into the house. Network liked him but the full picture wasn't disclosed by production and he wouldn't have been signed off on had network known the whole story. He's not the only ticking bomb they're sitting on, but he is the worst.

Two intruders may be going in next week. It sounds weird but it may or may not happen (we're not exactly working to a coherent plan here). I know they were contacted a few days ago and are on "standby". One male one female.

That's enough for me from now. I might check in tomorrow to answer any questions (I know most of you won't believe me anyway).”
It would be better to post that in a new thread.

How is everyone still asleep? This is so dodgy. Pretty sure every other bb series didnt have dark rooms still at this time.
It’s the production’s day off - they won’t turn the lights on (re: the HMs are not allowed to be up) until they want them to be. This is just their manufactured TV show now, not a group of strangers living and interacting their daily lives in a house.

I have only checked in and out of the stream quickly this morning just to see if they’re awake yet but I’m seeing TikTok replies saying the feed is just playing on a loop of them sleeping atm 🤔😂

it is 100% not a loop. Ive had the stream open while doing other things and ive seen many different things are happening like housemates waking up to toilet and stuff
