Mia still wouldn’t go to her bed. Brings up being in the bathroom last night, and the boys question it to which she says “ if you like you can just use your imagination” and then laughs it off. Alanna and Emily have had it. It’s giving Year 7 camp with stressed teachers supervising energy tonight

The previous night she was not settled for bed because of drinking Coke. I was surprised they gave them that so late. Even the Matso's at that time of night would keep me up.

Something that may be missed is that Holly's life probably has a lot of being in new places with new people constantly. She's just taking the situation for what it is. Making the best of it with no illusions, these people are part of her life once this ends.

Not to go into it, but I have travelled a lot and met a lot of people. At some point you get a bit over the same conversations with new people. Going through the situation of bonding, "we'll be friends for life" to then never chat again once your time together is over. So you do develop an understand of how superficial the friendships are in the short term are.

When she was speaking to Colin the other night, it was all about just enjoying the moment and not worrying about anything else.
