Housemate Colin discussion

May I share these? What's the source?
unfortunately hard to cite as they’re from various tiktok comment sections buried underneath overwhelming support that colin’s receiving.

as for sharing them, i’m not sure if the ppl in the screenshots want that (it seems like holly, the person who posted a photo of her with colin, deleted the comment/had it removed by the original poster).

God, I wish this loser would stop crying about what a loser he is. If you want to stop being a loser, then STOP BEING A LOSER. Such a cucked beta millenial male.

Im no fan of his and can’t stand the whole “bro” to everyone. He talks like a typical young 20 something and his choice of words is because it’s accepted by his community and they all talk like that. Going on the show will be a learning experience for him but it’s just a pity that there is nobody sensible in the house, they are all getting lost in farts and that’s as far as it goes.

Seems like the theme of this season is farting.

The average 20 year old does not talk like that at all, but it's definitely a social affectation. The guy is surrounded by knuckle draggers who bludgeon the brain cells out of each other, their neurons have probably substituted punctuation with "bro".

Yeah I'm no specialist in linguistics or psychology but the constant "bro" feels like social cue that he would use around his regular friends to indicate he's part of the pack. Male group mentality / hierarchy stuff driven by insecurity of being cast out of the group.

It's no different to how people who work in offices end up speaking in acronyms and corporate garbage language to each other - it's to show that you're part of the team.

Notice how other housemates have started picking up 'bro'... and more commonly 'brev' which I believe is becoming a form of familect for them.
